traditional cyberpunk wasn't very punk. there were a few minor characters in Neuromancer who were vaguely punk, like the Panther Moderns, but nobody was spitting on anyone and shouting "OI!"

Kovacs went full blown terrorist in Altered Carbon, Joe kills a corp cuck's top model, and Major does it on a daily basis despite being tethered to the system.
