The episode is about how Homer and Marge are bad parents by leaving their 10 and 8 yearold children unaccompanied with a baby while they go out on the town.
>Homer and Marge are in the wrong
Looks like BAD BABYSITTING to me, so Lisa.
Bart was an asshole sure, but the parents were in the wrong. I don’t care how good of a babysitter Lisa is -you simply do not give the 8 year old authority over her 10 year old brother and expect him not to rebel. That shit is demeaning as fuck, the parents did not take Bart’s feelings into account at all.
tpbp
Homer and Marge couldn’t afford he squid port if they couldn’t afford a sitter. Leaving Lisa in charge was idiotic.
homer and marge shouldn't have left an 8 year old drug addict in charge
Homer and Marge for letting an 8 year old girl babysit Bart motherfucking Simpson and expecting things not to go wrong
The writers for bringing their kids into the directors commentary for this episode
Formerly Dipper
>m-muh feelings
if homer and marge would have been able to watch some Stefan Molyneux videos on Peaceful Parenting, they would have found the patience to talk bart out of misbehaving and treated him like a person
bart was raised only to respond to physical strength. when supervised by lisa, he could act out without the fear of being strangled
When are they gonna modernize this joke? It can go like this.
>Bart gets a job
>Lisa tells him to go to work
>Bart starts twerking
>leaving an 8 year old in change of an infant and an older child who's a known troublemaker
Homer and Marge are in the wrong, I mean Bart is a cunt too but everyone already knew that
This episode still severely pisses me off, every single thing about it is annoying.
Did the Simpsons have the best commentary tracks, in general? A full fucking commentary on every single episode. I can't think of a single other TV show that has that.
For me all the Lisa babysitting Bart and he being a cunt part was very annoying. But the rest of the episode was hilarious.
Does S11E05 have commentary?
More shows should do the South Park method of short commentary for every single episode, but I guess that's harder when many shows have different writers for different episodes.
Who was in the wrong here?
It's a rare lapse in judgment for Marge, she usually knows better when it comes to Bart.
They do a commentary for every episode, start to finish. They have the season's showrunner, writers for the specific episode, celebrity guest stars if they can get them and whoever else wants to show up. Groening has been on every episode's track as well, outside of a handful. They definitely get less upbeat and slow down here and there as the later seasons release. It's actually really insightful for the entire production process for animation and television series' in general.
Which seasons are the best for this? Will it be enough if i only get S4-S8?
Yeah, the Seasons where the show was in its prime have the best commentary. You get a lot of talk or commentary from some of the best writers themselves like David Cohen, Conan O'Brien, John Swartzwelder, David Silverman and Al Jean. As well as a lot of cast and some guest stars like Mark Hamill. Groening is also more into the commentary of the older seasons.
>feelings aren't important
Autism is a disability, user.
Is it true that Americans add sugar to bread and you have to go to special health food type stores to get unsweetened bread?
Who was in the wrong here?
I wonder how this episode would have played out if Bart was the one in charge.
I remember I tried this when I was a little kid thinking my parents would find it amusing and my abusive, alcoholic father came in and punched me in the chest a half dozen times.
same, it's un-comfy
just like marge be not proud
>GET THAT FUCKING CAT OUT OF THE WAY
Honestly seemed a little over the top for a cartoon
nice boat
