After hearing about the possible Elder Scrolls movie, I decided to write down my "ideal" TES movie. Sorry for bad english, this is all written without any planning. I'm a Morrowind fan (obviously)
Movie would be directed by Uwe Boll.
Starring:
Thorgrim - Ralf Moeller (aged Nord barbarian with alcohol problem) Marcus - Jason Statham (Imperial farmer and ex Legion officer, ptsd issues) Varona - Evanna Lynch (Dunmer rogue) Emelin - Kristin Kreuk (bosmer scout and archer) Vivec - Maynard James Keenan (Vivec is portrayed as constantly stoned and paranoid, out of touch with reality) Orvas Dren - Ben Kingsley (sub-villain, psychotic slaveowner and servant of Dagoth Ur) Bruce Payne - Dagoth Ur Burt Reynolds - Divyath Fyr Ray liotta - Caius Cosades John Rhys-Davies - Yagrum Bagarn Leelee Sobieski - Mariel (breton witch) Lorenzo Lamas - Lamasi (renegade ordinator) Jim Norton - Fargoth Batista - Umbra Kristanna Loken – Ulfa Ben Stiller – Bensu
Plot: Thorgrim is an aged Nord veteran and mercenary hired by certain noble from Cyrodiil to find and kill an evil necromancer Sorkvild the Raven hiding in Vvardenfell, and who apparently kidnapped nobleman’s daughter. Thorgrim arrives in Seyda Neen and heads on towards Balmora to meet Emelin, his mysterious Morrowind connection and scout. While in Seyda Neen, we get a scene of him helping Fargoth fight off bullies, in exchange of receiving an enchanted ring of healing as a gift.
Thorgrim continues his journey to Balmora. In Pelagiad, while staying in Halfway Tavern and drowning in mead while accompanied by a mysterious girl, Thorgrim is suddenly attacked by several bonewalkers, only to be helped by Marcus, troubled imperial farmer skilled with sword and whose favorite line is: "There's a nip in the air. Cold won't be good for my crops. Never is." They discover that mysterious girl, who managed to escape, is actualy a breton witch Mariel working for Sorkvild the Raven. Thorgrim and Marcus team up next day after a group of undead attacks Marcus’ farm and kills his wife and son (revenge for helping Thorgrim). We find out that Marcus is an ex legion officer and also a veteran. In Balmora, our two heroes meet sexy and eccentric Emelin (she’s also tough and independent), a Bosmer who has connections with the underworld and can find out Sorkvild’s hideout. All that time our team is carefuly spied by a mysterious female dunmer rogue.
They visit South Wall cornerclub and ask around for information. Through Emelin’s connections, they finally approach a stoned old man called Caius who apparently knows a lot but in the midst of conversation, there’s a failed assassination attempt on Caius and our heroes by mysterious dunmer rogue. They capture the rogue and find out she is paid by Orvas Dren to kill Caius and any hero who contacts him because of some weird Nerevarine prophecy. She doesn’t believe in any of that mumbo jambo that but only cares about the money and manages to escape. Heroes then find out from Caius that great wizard Dyvayth Fyr might know the precise location of Sorkvild. Our four heroes then journey to the tower of Fyr. They stop by Vivec city and witness the grand parade of living god and exchange few lines of deep, metaphysical and existential dialogue with him. It’s obvious that Vivec is batshit crazy, weakened and sexualy frustrated. He also awaits a great hero known as Nerevarine to „finish the job.“ They agree that he’s crazy and walk off.
In the next scene, team encounters Umbra, a crazy orsimer warrior who is challenging anyone to a duel to death. Thorgrim and Umbra duel and after a dramatic fight, Umbra dies an honorable death. Throgrim coments that „he’s getting too old for this“ and takes Orsimer’s legendary sword, already a second powerful item obtained here on Vvardenfell. Meanwhile, dunmer rogue, whose name is revealed to be Varona, has returned to Orvas Dren but he isn’t happy about her failed mission. After scolding at her, he sents a group of mercenaries led by a cold and ruthless Ulfa, female Nord barbarian. It’s obvious that there’s rivalry and mutual hatred between Ulfa and Varona.

Heroes arrived to the tower of Fyr. Scene is slightly psychodelic. Tower is filled with all kinds of vice and debauchery, and our team finds out that old wizard just received some unknown hero. It’s of course the Nerevarine, but we never see his face or hear his name. Divyath then receives them but unfortunately doesn’t know about the necromancer, while repeatedly grabbing his cloned daughter-wives by the ass. Then, in the last moment, Yagrum arrives while carrying some magic boots and saves the day by revealing the necromancer’s secret hideout. Sorkvild is currenlty hiding in an daedric ruin near the Red mountain. Divayth is surprised that his old buddy and last living dwemer knows about Sorkvild, but Yagrum just smirks and comments „that he too has his wild hobbies down there in the corprusarium“. They both laugh loudly while our heroes exit the tower. However, a group of thugs, led by Ulfa, suddenly attacks the heroes. Our team is overwhelmed by the number and strength of thugs and just when it seems that they will lsoe the fight, Varona joins the scene and challenges Ulfa. Varona wins after a dramatic fight, but is injured. She’s then healed by Thorgrim thanks to the enchanted healing ring. Verona tells her story (she’s an orphan and not really evil) and that Orvas Dren works for Dagoth Ur, an evil demigod living in the Red Mountain, and if they don’t deal with him, he will never stop sending thugs to kill them. Thorgrim says that they will do that soon after they rescue a girl and kill Sorkvild.

While walking across the wild land, heroes see in the distance Red mountain covered in violent storms and thunders. Soon they aproach the ancient daedric ruin, dangerously close to the Red Mountain. This is Sorkvild’s hideout. However, inside they find several corpses and signs of fighting. Two ordinators aproach them and ask who are they and what they do in here. In the dialogue, we find out that ordinators came here in order to cleanse the necromancer’s den but found out that everyone was already dead, while Sorkvild and girl were missing. A group of ash zombies and vampires led by Ascended Sleeper suddenly attacks the group. During the fight, Ascended Sleeper reveals that it was them who slaughtered the necromancer’s den, since necromancy needs to be purged from Morrowind, they took the girl to the Red Mountain but Sorkvild escaped in the last moemnt. Our heroes, with the help of two ordinators, defeat the monsters and Marcus slays Ascended Sleeper in spectacular scene. However, Ascended sleeper manages to curse Marcus just before dying with the strange disease that will turn him ito a monster as well. One of the ordinators, called Lamasi, takes off the sacred mask and tells our heroes that era of Tribunal has come to an end, much to other ordinator’s surprise. Soon they start a fight and Lamasi is forced to kill the other ordinator. Knowing that he cannot ever return to Vivec city and is now a renegade ordinator, Lamasi joins our heroes. Lamasi is a melancholic character, who, just as Thorgrim and Marcus, has spent his life beliving and fighting for an ideal, only to feel betrayed and lost.
Jackson Phillips
Not knowing what to do next, heroes exit the ruin and find Mariel, laying on ground and gravely injured. She explains that Sorkvild and nobleman’s girl are actually in love and Sorkvild has become a necromancer in order to give them an eternal life. As for her, she also joined Sorkvild because she loved him and hoped to also become a member of his necro-harem. Mariel dies, not before revealing the final location of Sorkvild’s hiding. However, our team decides to go straight to the Red mountain in order to save the girl. Emelin suggest to pass through the nearby Ghostgate, as it’s a safest passage. Lamasi takes off his ordinator armor and dresses up in order to hid his identity. Ghostgate is however under siege, from both sides. From within, hordes of blighted creatures and from the outside, mercenary groups led by Orvas Dren. Ordinators and buoyant armigers are greatly outnumbered and are about to lose the battle, when our team joins in but is soon forced to escape. Ghostgate has fallen to the hands of Dagoth Ur. Our heroes manage to fight their way up the mountain and enter the citadel of Dagoth Ur.

Inside, they sneak through various chambers and finally discover the kidnaped girl. She is under the spell and have become a dreamer, just as many other citizens of Morrowind. While trying to rescue her, they’re discovered by a dreamer called Bensu who signals the nearby guards. Fight begins and our heroes are forced deep inside the citadel, while Thorgrim carries the girl. Marcus becomes overwhelmed by the disease and stops running, telling others to continue while he stays here to fight and die as a soldier. Soon they find themselves in the main chamber of Akulakhan, where Dagoth Ur holds a motivational speech to his horde of disfigured dreamers and sleepers. After being discovered, a bloody battle begins and it seems that our heroes met their end. Suddenly, an unknown Dunmer hero joins the chamber and fights Dagoth Ur himself. Hero wins and entire citadel starts crumbling. Our team escapes in the last moment and find out that most of disfigured monsters have been crushed to death and that combined forces of imperial legion and redoran have saved the Ghostfence. Kidnaped girl, like all the other surviving dreamers, broke out of the spell and calls for her „lover“ Sorkvild.

Enigmatic dunmer hero walks away, but is stopped by Thorgrim and asked who is he. Dunmer turns around and we see his face for the first time. He says „They call me the Nerevarine.“ On the question where is he going now, Nerevarine stays silent for a moment, answers „far from here“ and walks away. Remaining imperial soldiers then begin hunting down all the nearby monsters. Thorgrim recognizes in one of them his friend Marcus, now a disfigured half monster, still aware of his original identity. Marcus also recognizes Thorgrim, smiles and says „we did it, didn’t we“, before being beheaded by visibly saddened Thorgrim. In the end, Thorgrim tricks the girl into believing that he wants to help her in reuniting with Sorkvild and they pay him a visit in his tower far north. Thorgrim kills shocked Sorkvild and in next scene we see him returning the girl to her family in Cyrodiil. At the end credits, montage of Thorgrim returning to Dawnstar and Emelin and Varona joining together as a mercenary team in Balmora, we listen to the voice of Vivec narrating: "I remember. I do not feel it. I can, if I choose, remember the feeling. But I do not choose. It is very, very sad being mortal. There is happiness, yes. But mostly sadness. As I have said, "Count only the happy hours." For mortals, they are all too few. But for gods -- for me -- there is no more feeling. Only knowing.“ End shot is of Red mountain errupting.

Here's my plot:
Jobasha - John Leguizamo Tarhiel - Michael Cera Ahnassi - Wanda Sykes Enchanted Gwar (can talk) - Ray Romano Dros and Dres (pair of Ordinators out to get our heroes) - Danny McBride and Chris Hemsworth Ordinator Captain - Bob Hoskins The Creeper - William Shatner
The plot revolves around the quirky and greedy Jobasha and Tarhiel, trying to cheat their way to win a competition of best original spell hosted by the mages guild in Caldera. Together they set out on a quest to find a rare book of Mischiefs. After an initial attempt to enchant a gwar with wings horribly misfires, they find that the Gwar, named Steve, has developed a rather cynic but intelligent personality.
However, enchanting gwars is considered sacrilege by the Temple who send out a pair of Ordinators to chase down and punish our heroes. Jobasha, Tarhiel and Steve, together with the hypersexual Ahnassi, make another attempt at enchanting a pair of boots with enormous acrobacy - to hilarious results!

I don't think a TES movie would work to be honest, at least not if it wasn't a LOTR tier production, which is unlikely and would be accused of being derivative anyway. Maybe a GOT level HBO show would be good for a few seasons before turning to shit, or better yet, make a animated show.
