Was it that bad bros?
I kind of was frustrated with it because of the ending just kind of being a fuck you to the fans in my humble opinion.

So this was a prequel right? I still don't understand where the aliens come from in the second one
ALTERNATE UNIVERSES, AIN'T GOTTA EXPLAIN SHIT LMAO

you haven't been here for the last four days then. Plenty of talk about it.
It's not particularly creative but it's a decent sci-fi movie. The scenes connecting it to Cloverfield are terrible though, especially the ending. Apparently the Earth scenes and the ending weren't even in the original cut, it was something they added in the last 3-4 months. Paramount made the right decision selling to Netflix.
its a fucking shitty movie
I liked it.
If it didn't have the Cloverfield branding and the hastily reshot scenes nobody would pay any attention to it at all.
Yup, pretty much this. The third, just like the second one is basically a rebranded story. The Cellar and God Particle could've been great flicks on their own if only the studio left them unconnected to the shitty Cloverfield lore.
>major movie
It's a prequel sequel and everything inbetween. The paradox is what causes the events in the other films.
I'm curious to see what the original ending would have been, probably literally the same with her taking the escape pod down to earth but minus the huge monster
it was terrible, and there have been nonstop threads since it came out
The whole movie fucking sucks, Paramount somehow got to save their asses by selling this to Netflix, who will buy any piece of shit and promote it.
i heard the monster is super big. i wanna see all the monster scenes. that's it. i dont care about the dumb story. but in typical scary movie fashion im sure the monster is in like 2 shots
> no thread about a major movie that was released four days ago
Nigga where the hell have you been? We have been talking about this movie and we had like 10 big threads and probably other 10 about the theories or plot holes until everyone conclude it was and it feels like no one wants to talk about it.
The stream was fun tho
Its in 1 shot and its ridiculously huge, to the point where its head is poking through the clouds. Looks at the camera and roars, DA END
> in typical scary movie fashion im sure the monster is in like 2 shots
you're literally dead on. there's one shot of the monster's outline obscured by smoke about halfway through, and then the very last shot is the monster coming out of the clouds and roaring. That's it.
it's 5 seconds at the end
just got done watching this shlock
it was just dude space and science and stuff bro lol
shit i forgot the grab
>that crappy cgi
>that tacked on monster ending
probably should've set the whole thing in space instead of cutting back and forth to Earth in certain scenes, probably still would've been a pile steaming shit though
I watched the whole trilogy today. Jesus christ, every movie is a steaming pile of shit. Only 10 Cloverfield Lane was ok, but only when ignoring the barely existent cloverfield crap.
I was fucking glad almost everyone dies in those movies. Especially Huds death was appreciated. What a freaking faggot.
