In Islam, you are not allowed to make depictions of Jesus or Abraham either, as they too are prophets just like Muhammad. By the way, Muhammad in Islam is not like Jesus Christ in Christianity, because Muslims do not worship Muhammad or think that he was God. In fact, the reason why you are not allowed to depict the prophets is so you don't end up worshiping the messengers of God's word, instead of God himself.
