When I realized he was going to be in the movie I knew it would be shit. The "star wars" route of sequels/reboots where you make the main characters be kids of the protagonists of the original is just an awful story choice. It could work but 99% of the time it's just a signal that the writers are totally unoriginal and they don't get the appeal of the source material at all. It's even worse when the source material is the original Blade Runner, where Deckard is barely a character and definitely not sympathetic enough to build a sequel around finding.
