Is this the correct Always Sunny Character ranking?
1 - Dennis 2 - Mac 3 - Frank 4 - Charlie 5 - Dee
I think so. Dee is obviously the worst no questions there, Charlie is the stupid oh so random I say dumb things HAHAH!! Which can be cringey. Frank is good but sort of still is in this Charlie area of just being a character that does random shit for easy laughs, although it is actually funnier with frank. Mac is a lovable badass who's more subtle and has more depth and Dennis is just God in every aspect.
Mac is the worst. Dee is between Dennis and Charlie.
Lincoln Price
Apples and oranges. Dee is great, anyone who says otherwise is fucking retarded. Frank is the most one note (even before they all got Flanderized).
Personally: Dennis > Dee > Charlie > Mac > Frank
Cooper Ortiz
mac has never been funny hes just become a shitty strawman for everything rob is insecure about
James Lewis
are these ironic? this program is the epitome of reddit i can't tell whats a joke anymore
Adam Bennett
1.Frank 2.Dennis 3.Charlie 4.Dee 5.Mac
I always feel like Rob tries way too hard when he plays mac
Jackson Flores
1. Dennis 2. Charlie 3. Dee 4. Frank 5. Mac
Julian Davis
I love Mac.
Jeremiah Robinson
Early seasons: Charlie > Frank > Dennis > Mac > Dee Recent seasons: Dennis > Mac > Frank > Charlie > Dee
Liam Hughes
>Mac >badass
Leo Morris
I can see this.
Isaiah Powell
perfection
Joseph Foster
That's mostly correct. I hate how they made Charly a complete retard in the later seasons when he was originally just a dude who was pretty average but just kinda messy and weird sometimes.
Michael Price
Dennis > Charlie = Mac > Frank = Dee
Benjamin Campbell
wrong it's >dennis >frank/charlie (they are one organism) >mac >power gap >dee
Josiah Morales
No
Ethan Parker
>illiterate in the early seasons
Colton Thompson
...
Kayden Nelson
1. Dennis 2. Dee 3. Mac 4. Frank 5. Charlie
Dee's funny when she's the victim
Wyatt Evans
I never got how some people actually hate the Dee character. She's not actually annoying, the joke is that the other characters are complete assholes to her despite being as bad if not worse than her.
Bentley Ward
>Unironically thinking Mac and Dennis are cool. They are psychopaths, user, and they craziest of the gang. At least Frank and Charlie are well adjusted to their, admittedly unvoncentional, lifestyle.
Easton Jenkins
1. Charlie 2. Dee 3. Mac 4. Frank 5. Dennis
Dennis is a faggot
Bentley Barnes
I agree with this
Ethan Hughes
If anything he was retarded starting out and became an amazing idiot savant in later seasons.
Adrian Foster
>Fat Mac > Slim Mac Prove me wrong.
Justin Powell
It's legit character development, though. 10 straight years of binge drinking and sniffing glue will do that to your brain. I've met irl people like that. You try to talk to them and theyjust repeat words you say without actually saying anything.
Nathan Scott
The chart proves it too:
Noah Gray
>Majin Dee Heh.
Nicholas Gray
Dennis&Dee > Frank&Charlie > Mac&Dennis > Dennis > Frank > Mac > Charlie > Dee
Dee is not the strongest individual character, but she elevates Dennis because they bring out the worst qualities in one another.
Zachary Evans
I can kinda' agree halfway to this. Dee is fine when she works with others. Hell, the funniest Mac has ever been was when he was paired up with Dee in that episode where they find the dumpster baby.
Luke Cook
I still think writing Frank out as Dennis and Dee's father was a mistake. That shit was a lot funnier when they were literally hanging out with their dad.
Jaxon Young
>no Mac&Charlie ultimate white trash childhood buddies
Lincoln Nelson
Frank Charlie Dee Dennis Artemis Waitress Mac
Henry Wright
Pool episode was such high-tier comfy.
Christopher Myers
this but Cricket before Mac
Isaac Morris
I don't understand how people don't like dee. She has the best delivery out of anyone in the cast. Dennis gets more attention for his monolauges but the off the cuff lines from dee are goat.
Carter Green
1. Dennis 2. Frank 3. Charlie 4. Mac ?-?. various side characters ?. Dee
Jordan Nguyen
>Dee is obviously the worst You can't not 'get' IASIP but this is the closest you can get to not 'getting' IASIP
Henry Lee
Personally, I never felt invested in her. I don't understand what she brings to "the gang" or why she's even allowed to do all the shit she does.
I know this show isn't exactly portraying the peak of intellect, but I don't understand why they have a barmaid that serves no customers, steals from the registry and drinks free beer. All the while contributing nothing to the group-dynamic by herself.
Connor Russell
She's fucking great and I will never grow tired of watching her get shat on
Noah Scott
God damn Dennis has peaked long ago. How old is he suppose to be here?
Hudson Mitchell
>I don't understand what she brings to "the gang" She's the useless chick.
Austin Thompson
Yes but why do they put up with it? Even Frank, who's portrayed as a touch smarter than the rest, doesn't just fire her ass.
I just don't understand how any of the owners can sign her paycheck at the end of each month.
Charlie I get. The guy does a ton of really degrading work and he's essentially worth keeping around just for that. Dee though, is as far as I see 0 help to the bar. And it's not like anyone in the gang actually like her.
Eli Jenkins
Dees the best
Michael Collins
I want to try this out but I'm told the the show only gets good once Danny DeVito is added to the cast. Is this true or should I watch the older episodes too?
Chase Young
>watching shitcoms
Kevin Baker
He comes into it in the second season, and yeah, the first one is a little rough. They clearly need his element to the group, but it's still worth watching.
You get to know the characters and their relationships in the first season.
Season 2 intigrates Frank (Danny) into the mix, and by season 3-4 it's high-kino.
Jace Martinez
>everything i don't like is reddit
Carson Harris
frank, dennis, charlie, dee, mac
Jonathan Bennett
>And it's not like anyone in the gang actually like her.
Ethan Ross
you watch sitcoms, you're in no position to talk about taste
Henry Martin
Dennis. Charlie Dee/Mac share a rank, and really they're both very close to Charlie, with Dennis holding the lead by a strong margin. Frank, last by a lot, and I don't even dislike him or anything.
Mason Johnson
100% agreed The entire fat Mac season is kino
Daniel Wood
She single handedly filled up the bar with all the guys she was rating in that group dating episode, is always bring around guys for them to scam, they know she has all her money in her sock drawer for emergency money, and every time they fuck up their apartment, as long as she is around they know they have a place to crash just to name a few reasons.
Chase Price
They steal form her all the time. They also totalled two of her cars. Also they tell her she's not in the gang like every episode. The only reason she is always around is because she does so uninvited.
Sebastian Miller
>Dee is obviously the worst
Alexander Diaz
If she wasn’t dennis’s Sister she probably wouldn’t be around
Gabriel Nguyen
They like her being around because the joke's on Dee.
No matter how bad their lives get, Dee's a bird.
Carson Richardson
She doesn't get paid much--I believe most of her income is via tips
Caleb Cox
>tfw like the early seasons but think they progressively got worse >tfw the majority of people think literally the opposite >tfw liked the gang when they were just all somewhat normal people with odd personality traits It just felt like a comfy, dirty Seinfeld in the first season: youtube.com/watch?v=uB7hh-oaDgY
The last episode I remember enjoying was the one where the entire episode takes place in a restaurant and I stopped watching around season 7, does it get better?
James Moore
She also steals from the register, double drops, keeps Dennis' change, accepts cars for sex, prizefights, makes smut films, sells pyramid scheme berries, steals shoes, sells her babies, reports extra dependents to the irs, gets welfare, teaches part time, partakes in chicken and beef scams, has all the bar's merchandising rights, saves money on groupons, plus shes a footgirl, she has a pretty robust income.
William Taylor
>Dennis >Frank >Mac >Dee >Charlie
this is objectively the correct order, everything else is literally and irrefutably wrong
Kayden Clark
False.
Logan Phillips
it's Sup Forums and these people resent all women for not being a young and sexy mirror of their mommies
Lincoln Morgan
Mac < Charlie < Frank < Dennis < Dee < Cricket
Chase Campbell
7 is the best season IMO. Every fucking episode is solid gold.
Andrew Wright
Sunny is the only show I can think of where flanderization works, because they get into worse and worse shit as time goes on and that all piles up. The whole show is basically represented by Cricket.
Cooper Parker
>all these fags hating based Mac Confirmed ultra-betas. Bet you don't even know karate or how to backflip.
Luke Adams
it's the faux edginess
Caleb Thomas
It's rare for me to say this, but Sunny might be the ONLY sitcom I can think of which I can't present criticism for.
They're true to their concept, adding new elements only when it feels natural to the context, and the acting overall is very believable. But most importantly of all: 99% of it's stuff is actually funny. It has a few misses here and there, especially in the early season, but everything from S2-S7 is essentially commedykino.
I haven't watched farther than that, but as far as I know this is almost a perfect show.
Tyler Powell
>*further
Landon Foster
what about how hard it tries to be edgy
Austin Howard
The whole thing thing is worth watching although a couple of episodes in the latest season were total shit
Joshua Turner
What's the best dance number, Sup Forums? For me it's the high school reunion closely followed by Charlie's hot white cream
Ryan Torres
1. Frank He completely changed the show, got to put him on top. 2. Old Mac Old Mac was eccentric but most reasonable character and he was always the guy who starts the adventure. New Mac is most fladerized among them all. 3. Dennis Second to Mac in old seasons, but around 5th season (dennis system) gets over. 4. Charlie Too much comedy relief even among other comedy characters. 5. Dee Bird. Despite flanderization sunny is still goat tier.
John Rivera
>a human being (homo sapiens) did this
Christian Lopez
>Gohan Calvo
Ayden King
Boys im op drunk as shit reading these responses so fucking funny Sup Forums never change
Matthew Wood
So I've seen one episode and I thought it lacked any form of appeal. Is there a comparable show to see if it's worth my time?
Blake Bell
Dennis Dee Mac Charlie Frank
Nicholas Rogers
I see what you mean but I think they went too far with it Now they're all really one note Dennis = psychopath jokes Mac = gay jokes Dee = pathetic jokes Frank = senile jokes Charlie = stupid jokes I don't really care that it's gone to shit now, it's had a good run.
Ian Adams
Frank fucking higher than Charlie what the fuck?
Nathaniel Sullivan
>Not Majin Bird
Jordan Allen
This is correct.
Jack Campbell
1. Dennis 2. Frank 3. Dee 4. Charlie 5. Mac This isn't debatable.
Lincoln Sanchez
best edit ive ever seen
Aiden Anderson
yes
Jaxon Anderson
Yes. You try to talk to them and they just repeat words you say without actually saying anything.
Dominic Garcia
This guy gets it, you can't rank the gang individually, it's about how they play off each other when they pair off.
Liam Ramirez
The gang are completely insane and need each other to function. Remember the episode with Jason Sudekis where they invite him to join and he immediately realises what a bunch of weirdos thay are? Or the episode where Frank, Mac and Dennis decide the others have been holding them back and do their own thing, only to realise they can barely function in society anymore and the other members of the gang are the only ones who will tolerate their bullshit. The gang is basically in a five way abusive relationship and they all enable each other's behaviour, Dee is the punching bag, if she wasn't around the other four would murder each other in a week.
