>Drive by my old high school >80% of it has been demolished
>Drive by my old Junior School's park >The entire playground has been removed >tfw the kids who go to that school now will never experience the happiness that I did in that park
>year is 2032 >"Man, kids these days will never appreciate dabbing on haters with Logan Paul now that YouTube is gone." What are some 5 minute videos for these feels?

I know this feel.
>My High School used to be surrounded by farmland and beautiful forests. >We used to sneak onto "Farmer Joe's" land and steal his vegetables. >It was always lighthearted, he knew we were just kids and would chase us off. >We used to hide in the forest and smoke cigarettes, smash bottles during lunch breaks. >Would sleep in fields of grass and flowers. >It offered us a place to escape all the bullshit, be kids and have fun. >During class, always had a great colorful view to distract us from the communist indoctrination.
Its all gone now, acres upon acres of beautiful landscape all covered in disgusting grey duplicate units and flats, gated communities. The School has become a literal walled off high security fortress, with only 1 entrance/exit. It used to have no fence. You need a security card to access the main gate, it gets locked and you can't leave until school has officially ended for the day. Even if the kids who go there attempt to escape, there is nothing to escape to anyway, when they look out the window, all they see is duplicated housing units.
What a nightmare.

>I could swear you were quoting that Photograph song by Nickelback. Ironically Nickelback's latest album has a song that is more similar to OP post:
>Back in my hometown >The main street's dying down I>t's like there's nothing left of it >No more high school grounds >They tore that building down >And everything we built >Well, I miss >I cut off my own friends >So lost inside seeing them >Feels like were back there instantly >To me youtube.com/watch?v=8Jdbi1EAzdg
This song had potential but the FUCKING CHORUS made it into a love ballad.
WHY THE FUCK DO THEY DO THIS??

kek It's going to be interesting when the 2010s nostalgia wave comes around. We're already starting to see it with the 2000s.

I've done this like a dozen times. They don't care that I'm a 40 year old loser.
