Taxi Driver

Finding Forrester

The deer hunter

John Carpenters kinography

Chimes at Midnight

The Thing, Coraline, Mouse Hunt, or maybe some Harry Potter.

Adding to this Scooby Doo is also pretty comfy imo.

Have you ever watched The Sopranos?

It's not only comfy and universally critically acclaimed, it's the ultimate 'understanding depression' show.

British comedies like Peep Show, Spaced,. They do a good job combining desperation at life with comedy.

Those shows are so pedestrian and tacky, they make you feel like you're stooping into the dirt, terrible.

Sopranosfag here

Peep Show is also great for the exact same reasons I gave earlier

Lost in Translation
Chungking Express
Withnail and I
Howl's Moving Castle

TPB

For depression I would say a show like the office or Parks and Rec.

Seconding this. Also, Friends.

started watching futurama last week, haven't got past the first season but it's comfy

Most of these are depressing as fuck. You must have autism to have misread OP this bad.

I'd question yourself for pointing out the obvious and still missing the point.
