V Becoming BIG BUDGET Movie Trilogy

>We were first introduced to the world of “V” on May 1, 1983, which saw the premiere of the sci-fi mini-series that aired in two parts. Written and directed by Kenneth Johnson, “V” centered on a race of reptilian alien creatures known as the “visitors,” their intent to do what aliens always intend to do: take over the Earth, of course.

>“V” subsequently got an expansion with a sequel mini-series and a single season, 19 episode weekly series, before being rebooted in 2009. Now, it’s apparently getting a movie! Or MOVIES, rather.

Soft disclosure continues.

The original was so good as a kid but looks like shit now a days.

Never saw the original, but fuck me that's a terrifying image.

Its a work of art.

unf.

THANK YOU. Saw the 80's series before and loved it but can't lie I first watched the reboot and loved the finale of the second season and hated how it was cancelled.

Hope this movie trilogy will be as spooky as the new series was.

>Never saw the original, but fuck me that's a terrifying image.
Believe me it was terrifying in the actual episode how she played this real kind and caring Alien and like 10 episodes in the season suddenly she shows her true form and feeds on this guy.

thoughts on the 2009 reboot?

I recall liking it at the time.

Yea it was really enjoyable and deserves a rewatch. I remember petitions to bring a Season 3 :/

I saw the original and it was fucking terrifying to me as a kid when they were revealed to be reptilians who ate people. It wasn't until I was an adult I went back and actually managed to watch that damn series and by then it had no effect on me.

...is that the whore from Firefly?

Did you watch V, V and V Final Battle, or V and V Final Battle and V: The Series?

Yeah it is.

V, V: the Final Battle and then V: the Series which was the original airing order.

V: The Series was ridiculously bad. I liked the miniseries though.

Yeah the series was pretty terrible although I was surprised to see Robert Englund as a good alien.

Nice to see Daisy Ridley's still getting work after TLJ.

>In 1989 there was a proposed sequel series by J. Michael Straczynski entitled "V: The Next Chapter" that would have followed up five years after the conclusion of the original show. Ham Tyler would have been the only character to have returned and would have taken place in Chicago. The rest of the remaining cast had been temporarily or permanently written off, with Mike Donovan captured, Willie executed, Lydia assassinated, Donovan taken prisoner, Julie living in exile in Australia, Diana reassigned, and Elizabeth having died.[5]

>Warner Brothers ultimately passed on the project, and Straczynski instead turned to Alien Nation.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

Not a 10/10, but it was enjoyable. Morena Baccarin totally looks like ayy lmao.

It was really good in my opinion. My gf is all about alien conspiracy theories and I made her watch and it's her favorite show now.

...

J. Michael Straczynski is pretty good. Loved his 80s Twilight Zone run. Last I looked I couldnt find that series anywhere.

Loved loved loved Sense8
