HE WAS A CONSUL OF ROME
Rome
CONSOLE OF EDO
FELLOW CITIZENS OF THE AVENTINE
HE KILLED MILLIONS
>LOOK AT THE FUCKING STATE OF YOU
Was casting him as Antony the greatest casting decision in the history of television?
To save Sicilians.
>the state of this thread
Shame on the television and film board for such barbarity. Shame!
...
Was it autism?
did you think this post would be funny?
he gave black panther a negative review
>It'slaw
>Roman law
>Is there some other form of law you wretched woman
>LOOK AT THE FUCKING STATE OF YOU
Octavian. I curse you by all the Roman Gods.
Rome was awful. No idea why this show got so much acclaim. The storylines were soap opera tier, the acting dreadful and the scripts seemed written by a college sophomore. The only thing this series had going for it were the sets, costumes etc. with which they aimed for historical accuracy and failed. I'm a Romaboo who reads Latin and Greek but everything about this mess of television disgusts me. Explain to me why people like this terrible show.
>storylines were soap opera tier

TRUE
He was the best character
>the cast of rome is getting old
Did genuine retads start watching rome or is this some troll attempt to ruin rome threads? Threads about rome have been awful lately.
yes
should have just named the series Mark Anthony
>He worships dogs and reptiles. He blackens his eyes with soot like a prostitute.
This was a good scene. He portrayed the intended awkwardness and unfamiliarity of the gestures quite well. I was amused
Pretty much nailed every scene he had. Almost certainly the most memorable character in the entire show.
still better than Octavian and Brutus
Anthony-Vorenus moments were kino
Dropped it after they switched the actor. It wasn't only that the new actor didn't match, his character was completely changed as well
EE WAS A CONSO OF WOME
Storylines were decent but not great. Hard to have riveting twists when the pivotal event of the plot is common historical knowledge.
Acting was pretty good, sometimes great. Script was decent. Maybe a line here or there came off as stilted but it wasn't a big issue. No idea what you're talking about. Surely you're just trolling.
Costumes looked nice; I'm only an amateur student of history so I didn't notice anything too off.
It was an alright show. Watchable and entertaining easily into the second season, where the story simply lost steam. I appreciate the lack of modern sociopolitical commentary being forced into the plot and characters. I did notice that one of the directors was bad; his episodes (season 2) stood out somewhat. Above average. Solid. Definitely worth a watch.
You guys are reaching. The line was enunciated quite clearly
its a Vorenus is evil episode
>le edgy darkness and redemption arc
This is where the series definitely started to slide. The mark of a show that's loosing its momentum. Spartacus was an exception
GO BACK TO GAUL GINGER KNOB
it would have been fine but it literally was just one episode worth.
that second series suffered with all the content they had to fit to make it finish well
what the FUCK was his problem!?
Spartacus literally got remade into gay softcore porn since that was the only demographic still watching it, IIRC.
took his autistic shitposting irl one step too far
>wants to save the republic
>cant even kill himself properly
Cato was the protocuck.
It wasn't particularly bad in itself. But when he "got over it" and "returned to normal," I definitely noticed that what I had suspected was going to happen, had happened. The series had fizzled out. The character arcs were redundant, lacked focus or significance, involved character regression, etc. The "darkness and redemption" arc is a calling card of a story that's about to die and begin the transition into a cadaver marionette.
