why didn't he just accept the money his friend offered him?
Why didn't he just accept the money his friend offered him?
because humanists love to show how bad people become when they have no compassion
Roastie detected. Or worse, a soyboy.
Because he's not a neet like you OP. Working for your money is a pride thing. You wouldnt know living in your mom's basement and sucking the life from her
He was too prideful to take it. The entire series takes place because he doesn't know when to stop. There's a dozen times Walt could have walked away from the business with no trouble and set his family up for life, but instead kept cooking because it made his cock hard to feel important.
This and this. Thread closed.
>be super nobel science chemical man
>too proud to take his friend's money
>work shit high school teacher job
why didn't he get a better job if he is hurr durr elite provider? He had a kid with disabilities ffs
because it was Trump's America.
Because he's a dumbass.
Anyone who sympathizes with Walt is probably a loser irl.
6/10 series that reddit memed into pop culture history
Walt's entire arc is being butthurt over Grey Matter and trying to over compensate for not making anything of his life. As Grey Matter grew larger, Walt's ambitions plummeted. He taught because it was easy and allowed him the best ego stroking available - having authority over a room of people dumber than him. Of course, when he figured out he could cook meth and carve out his own success and wealth, teaching wasn't enough anymore. It took that jolt of ambition, that rush from being the BEST at something to get Walt to do something other than lecture bored teenagers all day.
>added prosthetic neck wrinkles to make him look older
Lol
because the point of the show is he's a bad person who'd rather risk his family to live out his power fantasy than take charity but retard fans of the show think he dindu nuffin
>having authority over a room of people dumber than him
even his students treated him like shit
Part of my point - even the part of his life he wanted to have actual control over defied him.
Are you completely forgetting about him saving jesse at the end?
Reminder that Walt did nothing wrong.
Why the fuck did he care so much about Jesse of all people anyways? Was it a lazy way of making him somewhat redeemable/appealing to normies? I never understood that.
Nice bait
He knew he could control jessie and he also saw potential in him. It's debatable whether he actually cared for him or not.
I think that despite all that controling him he actually thought of him as a kind of son
Because he knows he fucked with him and manipulated him to no end. He also knows he did something entirely out of pure rage and 'sold' him off to the Nazis, he was pushed over the edge with Hanks death. That's why he told him the truth about Jane with such venom.
But the truth is, he enjoyed having him as a partner, they literally have saved each other asses before, and they had a close bond. Did you watch the fucking show?
He literally had an actual scientist partner removed in favor of Jessie because he worked better/had more synergy with Jessie.
Some really undersold idea of pride. Even Walter had fuck all for character development.
how has this no reply yet?
