Great at what? extreme poverty and corruption?

oh nonono

then why won't he move there

d-does he really think that or is he memeing

>haiti is greati
>lives in a gated fort

I understanding attempting to raise awareness towards the poverty stricken dump that is Haiti, but is this the best way of doing it?

>t shirt over a dress shirt

He looks like somebody is forcing him to wear that shirt.

>Corruption in Haiti is a serious problem. Transparency International's 2016 Corruption Perception Index ranks the country 159th place out of 176 countries.[1]

>Corruption is a severe and widespread problem in all levels of government. Although there has been some progress since 2008, when Haiti was rated the world's fourth most corrupt country, there remains much room for improvement.[2]

>tfw I used to have some respect for him

Shouldn't Haiti be pronounced Hah-ee-tee?

Oh Haiti
I love the authentic cuisine

Something about the unprofessional bathroom tier lighting and ominous shadow so close to him in such a a claustrophobic space makes me feel very uneasy. Like he was kidnapped and forced to take the pic at gunpoint then was raped afterwards.

But Jerry, you could be a Haitian pirate with that thing!

Judging by the crease in the middle he just put it on and he seems uncomfortable with the virtue signalling someone is forcing him to do.

꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂꧁꧂

That better be an edit, no one is that delusional or desperate enough to convince themselves to such a ridiculous idea.
I feel for Haiti but it has always been a terrible place to live

...

Oh it's real. So is Trump derangement syndrome.

Literally nobody truly believes that Haiti is anything but a corrupt, impoverished, dangerous, disgusting shithole. Every time anyone goes there they go to a very select handful of hotels that are in gated compounds with private security, ten foot high walls with razor wire, 24/7 CCTV and guard dogs. Moreover most of those places aren't actually staffed by Haitians, they're staffed by Europeans students who get a package deal for the summer holidays away from uni. Why aren't they staffed by Haitians you ask? Well because those Haitians are the same people that make Haiti such a fucking hellhole to begin with. They'd steal, rape, mug, assault and maybe even murder the guests just to grab their camera bags or their wallets.

This is why seeing people defending Haiti is so infuriating and sickening. They know Haiti is a shithole, and WE know, and THEY KNOW WE KNOW. The problem is that they get such a high from signalling against Trump that they just won't stop.

None of those people would ever consider living in Haiti in a million fucking years. Wanna prove it? Haiti is fucking cheap, I'm sure most people could rent a house (well, shack, they don't really have 'houses' as we know them) for a month without denting your savings too much. Offer to rent one for them in an average suburb (read: slum) and see what their reaction is.

What makes Haiti so great?

So much #powerful in this thread, and that's a good thing

It's diverse population and history of white genocide

Stupidity?
I mean, being given seeds to plant crops and then eating the seeds is pretty impressively retarded.

Only because the people there are inadequate at governing themselves.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. We shouldn't hold every country to western standards.
That doesn't mean they're entitled to our help either.

It takes a special kind of sociopath to lie with a straight face and say that Haiti is a great place to live in.
America would be unironically better off if people like Conan O'Brien were deported or put into concentration camps.

Press F11 repeatedly

I don't understand how an intelligent person just starts acting like this. Hate Trump, fine, lots of people do, but for an educated man to say with a serious face that Trump is nearly a dictator? It makes no sense to me.
