Choreography is hard. Why spend weeks training up actors and stuntmen when you can underpay a struggling sfx house to CG it and have your main character look like they weigh under 1kg as you shoot it like you're strapped to an out of control rocket.

Its not a regular fight. The entire set has futuristic technology, the suit has different changing effects on going, the camera motions are different, etc.

If they did it "practical" they need some really complicated cable work, more cuts, more insurance for the actors, and a lot of money spent on the set and costumes.

I was talking more about the action part (and i don't remember any bad CGI there). It's just that it feels like Marvel completely gave up since people will flock in regardless of quality these days (or they didn't want to/didn't spend so much on BP for some reason, but that still doesn't excuse the CGI in Spider-Man).

That's because Blade was cool back in the day, when I was in high school, Blade was popular, say 2001-2002. Blade 3 wasn't so good and it's popularity died down. Sup Forums wasn't around when Blade was popular.
