So the plot twist in the film is that Pacino is gay. What is the point?

the point is, maybe it's time you considered sucking his dick?
hoooooah

goddamn he was so fucking sexy

him being gay has no relation to the main plot

>weirdo fag gets into trouble with weirdo tranny
>weirdo tranny can't afford to get his dick cut off
>weirdo fag tries robbing a bank to afford dick surgery for his weirdo tranny boyfriend
>fucks up

It's a movie about how retarded the Left is.

he was in love with a FEMALE = NOT GAY

no it's a movie about sensationalism in the media

worst thread of the month

>movie sensationalizing media sensationalizing weirdo fags

wow so meta

can we get some real discussion in here
like is this movie worth watching? seems like netflix always has it

It isn't on Netflix (at least in America), but Pacino and Cazale were both fantastic in this.

ok it's on my watchlist ty user

Yeah it's a great movie that really changed the entire genre of bank robbery movies, almost every bank robbery or hostage movie after this kind of follows its example. Charles Durning is also really fantastic as the Police Lieutentant

It's based on a true story.

It's one of the best films ever made.

> female
> has dick

No user. Biology does n9t work like that.

It's pretty good

It's not that good

When you watch it, go in understanding that it's a "comedy of errors" not a drama

It's worth to watch for Cazale alone. He is the best bit actor in the history of the business, in my opinion.

I don't want him going into this thinking it's going to be some antiquated Dirty Harry experience. The editing and tension hold up very well.

no the plot twist is the sal gets shot in the face and pacino surrenders. So the robbery fails.

It's better than Raging Bull

I haven't seen Raging Bull but I doubt it.

That means you're a presumptuous idiot

No, it means you're wrong.

>plays a character that doesn't want to get cancer
>gets cancer just a couple years later and dies
It's like poetry, it rhymes.
But yeah, I don't get the acclaim of the film. It's based on real events, and the events are that the guy was mentally ill and a menace who robbed banks for no reason whatsoever. I guess the ending caught me off guard, quite sad.

They both have 95% on RT and 4/4 stars by Ebert. I think you may be presuming one film's legacy as proof of its superiority to another. What do you think Jim?

Roger Ebert and Rotten Tomatoes don't interest me.

It's okay. Serpico is better though. You should just watch that.

What you're not interested in doesn't interest me. Don't bring up your interests again.

Your lack of interest doesn't interest me.

What did I just say about what interests you?

fuck you
