And I find it kind of funny

And I find it kind of funny.

I find it kind of sad.

The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had.

its because he dies in infinity war retard

He's contracted for part 1 and 2. There's also plans for another Thor movie

>I’m done with the character unless you pay me more

didn't he say that prior to thor 3?

If they can make another top quality comedy movie like Thor 3, keep making them. Thor 1 and 2 were complete shit, but 3 was great.

Its not just the script though. they need another talented director like taika waititi.

>but 3 was great

I want a sequel to Ragnarok with a Space Cabby (I know he's DC) type character and a Beverly Hills Cop type story

>Space Cabby will never show up in a Green Lantern film to help Hal take down Evil Star.

WHY FUCKING LIVE?!

Legit what other works has he done besides Thor? How long can he ride off that legacy before he has to remind people he was in Ghostbusters

>3 was great
jesus fucking christ, is this a meme or do retards on this board actually think that this is anything else but the worst MCU movie yet? I honestly can't tell because I've seen the movie a few days ago and it was really fucking bad

the characteristics of thor, loki, and odin make literally no fucking sense since they are changed 100% from prior iterations. plus, the movie being a full on comedy is the exact opposite of the subject of ragnarok. I can also stand the shitty CGI which was the worst of all the movies but the story being dull as hell while hela is a 50s disney villainess is unforgivable
I honestly refuse to believe that people are too dumb to see all of this

>Space Cabby shows up
>It's fucking Eddie Murphy
>youtube.com/watch?v=V4kWpi2HnPU starts playing

Rush is pretty good

The MCU will never end.

>I don't want to work and make millions of dollars for goofing around in front of a camera anymore

I mean, if I was him I don't blame him. Dude is set for life.

You're trying too hard.

yeh and ragnarok was great

He is 100% correct

>In a sick twist of fate it's the Crazy Frog version

>tfw you realize they're the same song
What's next, some Disney classic is actually the Hamster dance song?

if he wants this is the part of his career where he invests his paychecks, lives modestly and just makes serious art films for the rest of his life

Why do people like Waititi so much? I've never seen Sup Forums THIS positive towards a Marvel director. What else did he do that's so good?

I liked Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What We Do In the Shadows. Didn't see Ragnarok but they're solid, funny movies.

since Marvel doesn't...

He's actually right. Add to that the erasure of white people (a deliberate action by Taika Waititi-Cohen) and the whole thing is cancer. I used to love Marvel, but I haven't bothered with them since Civil War.

this

>muh aryan valkrie

it must suck to be a Sup Forumstard and not be able to enjoy good pop culture entertainment cause you're triggered snowflake.

He also played the rock man in ragnarok, who most people loved.

Contract negotiation move. The big marvel guys are the only ones with leverage.

What he actually said....
>“My contract’s coming to an end, we’ve just finished the last two Avengers,” Hemsworth revealed according to Digital Spy. “Who knows what the future holds?”
>“We felt like we reinvented the last one in a big way,” Hemsworth said of Thor Ragnarok. “It felt refreshed and re-energised. We might have a conversation if there’s another great script that comes along. But at the moment that’s it.”

>3 was great

they will just replace him with a cgi frog and Horse Thor

Does this retard think he has the same leverage power as RDJ? Marvel's gonna drop him like a pile of bricks and make Thor a stronk black womyn

>good pop culture entertainment
>Thor
lmao!

there will be no need ot time for Thor after Avengers 4, but they might as well recast.

>good pop culture entertainment
>capeshit
and stay there plz

Nope

It was mediocre. Being the least boring and generic doesn't mean it was good.

They will make him a woman just like the funny books. RDJ will be replaced by a negress. MCU will enter the sjw era

It was a huge step up from the previous two Thor movies, and the parts that deviated from the standard Marvel formula were actually good.

>doesn't mean it was good
Unfortunately true, but I'm going to say it was at least somewhat enjoyable.

>b-but pol
Or the comedy was awful and there was hardly any seriousness and weight to the movie. They managed to make the apocalypse "couldn't care less" tier. A bigger fuck up than dc movies do.

>3 was great.

he wants to get out because he's been bound to them for like 10 years and he doesn't want to be seen as Thor for the rest of his career. Infinity War is going to kill off his character and bring him back with a newer, younger actor. Out with the old guard in with the new

I honestly would love to see Beta Ray Bill in the movies. He's awesome.

They don't even have to look far for the actress, the girl who became Thor in the comics is the character played by Natalie Portman in the MCU. So Natalie Portman could be our next Thor.

I also thought using Immigrant Song twice was a mistake. It fit both scenes, but being used again felt cheap.

Pretty much the sole good parts of the movie
>settings
>Hela
>Thor x Banner dialogue
And uh... yeah. That's it. Even the action was underwhelming.

>the movie being a full on comedy is the exact opposite of the subject of ragnarok

>Marvel comics
>Ragnarok is a cyclical event orchestrated by a hidden cabal of shadowy god-alien things
>when Thor dies, his body is then repurposed by Tony Start into a cyborg being that kills a blaxploitation character from the 70's
>but Thor comes back and Asgard is now a floating city located in rural Kansas

Yes, Ragnarok in the comics was a very serious and solemn affair, with no silly elements whatsoever. A shame the movie didn't do justice to it.

>i-i'm not butthurt, the movie was just bad

Nobody's buying it faggots.

It was foreshadowed to be serious in AoU. And nice cherrypicking.

>implying he won’t come crawling back
No one in the MCU except RDJ and Pratt have any star power. All of their movies either are panned or bomb.

Hemworth’s shitty Moby Dick movie was hated by everyone.

>It was foreshadowed to be serious
No, it wasn't. It was just a grim dream because Scarlet Witch was fucking with his head to unsettle him. The only thing that was clear foreshadowing was the Infinity Gems and the creation of Vision.

>nice cherrypicking
Feel free to tell me exactly what part of the Ragnarok comic event was a super serious affair, intended only for the most mature and discerning consumers of capeshit garbage.

the nigress will become thor after his death

dude, it's just capeshit, calm down

>watch Cucknarok just for Cate Blanchett
>she's in the movie for 10 minutes and her superpower is throwing blades

>d-dude I totally didn't lose the argument!

>ragnarok isn't top 5 in the MCU

>3 is gud

>year 2195
>Thor 14: Odinson. Part 7 of 12

>this is an argument

They're just cranking out the same dogshit every time. Some bad guy appears, oh no they are more powerful than we imagined and the main characters can't handle him. Inject feminist and deracination subliminal dissemination. Sprinkle some soulless generic 70's, 80's and 90's pop hits to make you think this film is popular by implied association and of course, quips. It must be funny because there's quips. Good guy eventually beats bad guy after you think hope is lost. More hints at the next generic piece of shit in the credits. It's literally amazing that people keep watching this. I wonder if they would stare at a turd for two hours.

Eat your quips, Hemsworth.

>HEY GUYS YOU CANNOT DISLIKE THINGS ANYMORE HAHA OR ELSE YOU ARE TRIGGERED LOOOOLL HAHA DO YOU LIKE MARBEL MOOBIS? YOU BETTER DO OR ELSE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE HAHAHA LMAO LOL

>I'm not mad!
>dumps three brainlet wojaks in a row
Damn son, just go back to Sup Forums.

>top 5 in the MCU
Is this supposed to be some sort of high bar to get over?

>he no liek caep moobis
>Bekc to /pleel/
>u maed

>dis guy is zamefagging. Thor iz kino!
damn nigger, just get some taste

He realized himself that the best Thor movie was the Brannagh one, and that they've been getting progressively worse.

1 > 2 > 3

No. He got pretty lucky though to get picked up for a franchise if you think about it. He barely started his acting career before getting picked up for Thor.

I feel like Ragnarok was just about the best Thor movie they could make. If that really is the last one, then good for him. In reality, he'll probably do another one, and it probably won't be as good.

Ragnarok was poor. This was much better and even had better comedy.

Though his orange slices line in CW was still utter shit.

I bet you liked TLJ, too.

It's easily 1>3>2, there's no argument.

Literally every character should die in Infinity War since that's what happened in the comic.

Rock man was my favorite character

TLJ is unironically the best disney star wars film

Please. What else is he going to do? I hope he’s ready to make some romantic comedies after marvel leaves him on the curb because he hasn’t shown any real acting ability.

I doubt they would kill off all of the main four. Maybe one or two.

I’m more excited for any man and wasp than infinity war

Size hijinks are fun and the first worked really well as a heist movie rather than just some good guy vs bad guy

He still has to do Thor: Siege.

I don't care what they WOULD do.
If the main heroes defeat Thanos while he has the infinity gauntlet, its a bad movie.

>this mousecuck meltdown over thor of all movies
capeshitters are literal subhumans

Even the Guardians of the Galaxy? That would be kind of lame considering they have not even interacted with a single character from the rest of the MCU. Their movies have stood alone completely up until now. Then they join the Avengers and that's when they die? Kinda sucks.

Thing about the MCU is when they kill off a character, they kill them off for good. They don't return a few issues later like they do in the comic books.

Not him but you have me curious. Explain to me what the comics did if they had Thanos win and kill them all. How did they follow that up?

You haven't read Infinity Gauntlet have you?
Literally every single hero sent to fight Thanos dies.

Its funny he didnt say shit about the Ghostbusters script, and that shit sucked hairy nigger ass

They should have used it for the second time only. First time should have been something else.

Hemsworth was in Ghostbusters? Who the fuck did he play?

the male secretary for the Ghostbusters.

He has a dog named Mike Hat. Get it?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Infinity_Gauntlet

First time should have been Kashmir.

I just want Beta Ray Bill fucking shit up and being a better Thor than Thor.

Fun police is here

And they all come back to life at the end.

But the movie wasn't fun. Ant-Man was fun. Strange was kinda fun. Civil War was fairly fun. Homecoming was kinda fun. Ragnarok? Not fun.

STUPID fucking shitposter.

And? Disney won't let anyone die and the mortal heroes will win against Thanos.
That is fucking stupid.

Well if this is what you're looking for you will be happy to learn that Mark Ruffalo, in all his special ed glory, let it slip that "everybody dies" in Infinity War.

youtube.com/watch?v=_A0UeT38CLo#t=2m17s

So it sounds like they are going in that direction.

Cause he's certainly not joking.

you know besides basically ALL of the avengers

Did you read the comic? Thanos wins but conveniently drops the Infinity Gauntlet when he makes himself god (just like he did the Cosmic Cube back in the 70s) allowing Nebula to pick it up and undo everything he's done, including all the heroes. Nebula can't control it and drops it and Warlock snatches it. No one remembers anything that happened except for Thanos, Warlock and his buddies. Zero consequences. I don't see how that's any less stupid than the heroes actually beating Thanos in one or another without killing everyone for shock value and bringing them back.

If anything the movies are more likely to actually kill off some characters for good since they probably won't be doing the stupid resurrection thing.
