Unabomber wasn't a serial killer.
and yet none as good as silence of the lambs (or even se7en)
only kino serial killer flicks are either documentary or fictional
Poor Ted was too smart for his own good then he got MKULTRA'd
serial killer shared universe kino when?
>serial killer
does not apply to uncle ted
>tfw you liked true crime before it was popular to talk about and now everyone is boasting their knowledge on serial killers, rapists and cults at parties
I guess it's fine now, at least I don't get weird looks and awkward silences anymore.
He still killed 3 people, which qualifies him as serial killer (though he’s technically a domestic terrorist). People call Ed Gein a serial killer though he only killed two.
Sorry i’m autistic.
You can kill 100 people and not be a serial killer, its all about the context
The unabomber became TOO redpilled
>in 2016 Ted Kaczynski reached out to multiple journalists offering an interview
>his one condition is they admit he's not crazy
>nobody took him up on the offer
>he will be 76 this May
He was a serial bomber. It's the same thing.
or was he not redpilled enough
There’s a Stephen King universe, so any thing could happen in this media hellscape.
There’s been a true crime revival ever since Serial / Making a Murderer
damn that's crazy
I hope he gets to say more before he dies
The next level of redpill beyond unibomber is the vargpill, which is basically unibomber + wife and kids
Prove me wrong
>Mom ran a thrift store
>Be 10 years old looking through the random boxes of books
>Came across a book on serial killers that was extremely informative while also being one of those coffee table books with lots of pictures, easy to understand
>fascinating.jpg
>do your class speech project that year on serial killers
>get pegged as the fucking weirdo
>completely ok with this, they weren't wrong
Loved the genre ever since. I haven't really noticed more people talking about it, I think it's about the same as usual.
>Prove me wrong
gas yourself no one cares about that fag
Teddy was a genius, varg is a failed viking larper
Did you know Ted's in a supermax prison in Colorado with that Tsaranov kid, the other OKC bomber Terry Nichols, the shoebomber, and a bunch of other high level terrorists, mob bosses, double agents and criminals? Pretty wild, huh?
Did you miss the Zodiac special?
>become a serial killer in hopes you become even more idolized after your story gets the "Hollywood Treatment"
Truely the new American dream
No, he was a unabomber
guaranteed they won't be substituting any black men for these roles.
you kids dont know anything yet. get reading
This book is next level redpill
>Teddy was a genius
then why is he dead? checkmate ted cocksucker. gary ridgway > ted bundy
That Manhunt:Unabomber was really well done. Maybe a bit dramatic at times not overly so in an off-putting way. I'm glad they gave the meaning behind Ted's actions the time to be understood. Well done.
>tfw no more Ed salad sandwich
He's not dead.
go back to Sup Forums if you want more effort trolling
>THE IDENTITY OF THE ZODIAC - Documentary #2345
Will they ever stop making these?
I've never watched any of em, but I wonder how many people's lives they've ruined by attaching their names to the zodiac killer
so this book is tying MK Ultra conspiracy theories to serial killing?
JINX WAS FIRST
Here's some Jeffrey Dahmer quotes I've collected from my true crime book collection.
Jeff's opinion on aids:
>"You know, all of these gays should be dead anyway from AIDS. None of them should live. This is a plague sent by God on the gay community."
Jeff discussing the families of his victims:
>"The simple fact is that I don't give a fuck about them or how they feel. I knew each of the victims had families when I killed them, and I also knew that I would cause them a lot of pain in doing what I did, but I didn't care. I really don't have any remorse for what I did. I do regret getting caught, more should die, but it's over for me. I would like to say to the families that I truly enjoyed what I did and that I regret nothing."
On how he feels about his victims:
>"To be honest, I didn't give a fuck about them. You don't understand, you never killed anyone, but I actually enjoyed it while I was doing it. I drugged 'em all first, so they didn't feel anything. They didn't know what was happening. I just enjoyed the power of being in control of their bodies."
youre screwing hecking right it is. the first part also exposes child porn and human trafficking networks within the elite of european and us governments
Remember that time the police brought one of Dahmers victims back for him to kill?
they didnt bring him back for killing fucking dumb wolfcuck
It's not mentioned in most media, but a couple of the books on him explicitly state that Konerak Sinthasomphone had a criminal record for being an underage prostitute. His brother was one as well.
Jeff on Konerak:
>"I thought for sure I was caught, and I was even more shocked when the officers left him with me without even asking to look in my bedroom. They'd have been surprised to see three bodies in there, wouldn't they? That just shows you how ignorant society is on this planet. Those officers had no idea whether they were doing the right thing or not. I still can't believe they handled the situation the way they did."
Jeff having a bad day and discussing heaven:
>"I know what I said the other night, about going to hell. And I thought about it and I wondered, 'why would I not go to heaven?' Yes. Basically, I believe what I did was right. Somebody has to rid the earth of scum. Why would I be punished for that? If I am punished it'll be by making me continue to live on this earth, knowing that scum like that are still walking around freely, contaminating this planet and its people. That's torture right there, having to stay on this earth."
They still caused his death
Any quotes about his skull drilling shit? I think that was some of the scariest shit I've ever read about until I heard of the toolbox murders.
>that photo
the absolute madman
>serial killer
>mommy issues and hidden homosexuality
Why is this always the case?
More quotes:
Jeff on confessing and talking about his crimes. He supposedly made this statement after being picked on by other prisoners all day:
>"Because I find it extremely sexual to go over the crimes I committed, and I get off telling exactly how I took the worthless lives of those people. Why shouldn't I be proud and tell others? I only did what needed to be done and I told them of all seventeen because I'm proud of my attempt to rid the planet of that type of trash."
Jeff on his skulls:
>"Personally, I found the skulls somewhat erotic. I could sit and stare or fondle them for hours, fantasizing about killing more people. I really liked the skulls. Plus, I knew that if the police ever found a real skull in my possession, it would be confiscated. The paint was a form of disguise so they wouldn't be taken."
Jeff on why he had photos and drawings of skeletons on his wall:
>"Well, I couldn't exactly have the full skeletons of my victims hanging around, so I had pictures. I'd fantasize that the pictures were pictures of all my victims. I'd look at them and masturbate."
On why he drugged his victims:
>"Because when they were drugged, I could get them to do anything I wanted without them struggling. It was easier and more enjoyable."
By all accounts he was an absolute LAD growing up
Jeff made this statement about his dad in reference to when Lionel had him join the army:
>"He did it just to avoid spending time with me. I know that. He wanted to spend more time with her [Shari].
Jeff on picking up victims:
>"I met them at the common places any person would go to meet people: bars, parks, malls, Laundromats, bus stops. I'd promise them the sexual experience of a lifetime or sometimes I'd tell them I had drugs or money that I would give them. I told them I had large quantities of whatever they desired at my apartment and that they could have all that they wanted if they came with me."
Jeff on making real life zombies:
>"Anything's possible isn't it? We're taught that while growing up. We're taught that we can be whatever we want to be, so why couldn't I control people? It didn't hurt to try. The act of doing it was completely erotic, actually."
Jeff on eating people, he often claimed he he only really ate one victim, but made numerous contradictory statements in which he suggested he ate parts from several other men:
">It had a rough, salty taste and it wasn't very pleasing because it was tough. Cooked, it was better."
Jeff on the body parts he had saved:
>"It was food, and it would have been eaten if I'd have had the time to do it. Also, I could take the parts out whenever I needed the rush from chopping them. They were an asset, man."
Jeff on if he thought he was ill:
">I'm just as sane as the next person. I knew exactly what I was doing then and now."
Jeff on his first murder:
>"After my first killing in Ohio, I started drinking heavily. I knew then that my spiritual soul had died. At times, I felt nothing. At other times I felt like a time bomb of destruction."
pretty alpha
Several quotes of Jeff discussing killing black people:
>"If I only killed whites, it would have ended a long time ago. That's one reason I targeted minorities. Whites are superior. The families would have been more outraged if the victims were all white. They would have been reported missing right away and stuff like that."
>"Another reason I chose blacks is that they were easier to trick once they saw my money. If I promised them money, they'd come to my apartment easily."
>"It was easy. If I saw anyone looking at me at the various bars, I'd start talking to them. Sometimes I'd say, 'Do I know you?' Or, 'Have we met some other place before?' You know the usual tactics, small talk. When we got to my apartment, I'd tell them that the apartment belonged to a black friend of mine who's in the army and he had to report back to the base. Then I'd say that my black friend said I could keep the apartment until the rent ran out. I figured they'd be more comfortable there if they thought it belonged to a black man. That way, being with a white guy wouldn't seem so weird to them.""
>manhunt: unabomber
This good?
His defense team swore up and down that Jeff wasn't racist, but his family told the press he became very racist after he served prison time for being a child molester. They had he had been raped and terrorized and was different when he got out.
Some quotes from the book, "The Man Who Could Not Kill Enough":
>"His stepmother, Shari Dahmer, told reporters, "He had no light in his eyes. Jeff lost his soul in there. He said he'd never go back to prison. Something happened to him in prison that he would never talk about." It is common knowledge that there is a code of justice among convicts, according to which rapists and child molesters are often raped by other prisoners. Some have also speculated that Dahmer developed a hatred of blacks in prison, but while in the Army, long before he entered prison, he was known to make derogatory remarks about blacks."
>"Private First Class Jeffrey Dahmer never spoke of his family, nor did he hear from them. He didn't bother anyone; he just kept to himself, except for his belligerent outbursts when he drank. A number of those outbursts consisted of racial epithets, such as nigger, directed at black soldiers."
From the book, "Jeffery Dahmer: A Bizarre Journey into the Mind of America's Most Tormented Serial Killer" by Joel Norris:
>"Dahmer was miserable in prison, however, and his hatred of minorities surfaced whenever he felt safe to let it surface. He once told an inmate about how he hated blacks and fantasized about killing black people once out of prison. But the inmate didn't take him seriously. No one did. Dahmer, after all, was a nerdy type of guy who had molested a kid. He was, in prison parlance, a "short eyes" and fair game for any convict in the dorm. Dahmer told his family that he was raped by black prisoners on at least one occasion, but was probably terrorized by other prisoners throughout his sentence. His grandmother said in an interview that she believed Dahmer had been assaulted more than once and had developed a deep hatred for the black prisoners at the Community Correctional Center. All of this was ironic because while Jeffrey was complaining about being the victim, he had already murdered four black men and sexually assaulted a fifth. But, nevertheless, Catherine Dahmer said that she believed her grandson's attitudes hardened as a result of his time behind bars."
Low budget, so the writing isn't top notch, but it's ot half bad. But not as good as Mindhunter.
I have visited (rolled past) the killing grounds of both Dahmer and Gein on the same day. I did not trespass, and just played it cool. The visitations proceeded on the same day, without incident. AMA :^)
It's a Silence of the Lambs rip-off
He looks familiar...
Ok, I just read the intro and that seems like something I'd like to read. I'm interested in the CIA backed Satanic cult angle.
someone on here should hit him up
Like we aren't on enough watchlists
Kemper comedy when?
>manhunt: unabomber
Loved the fact that most of the story was purely fictional and revolved around the consulting producer who in reality did almost nothing on the actual case.
Sauce? That's hillarious if true.
>That Manhunt:Unabomber was really well done. Maybe a bit dramatic at times not overly so in an off-putting way. I'm glad they gave the meaning behind Ted's actions the time to be understood. Well done.
after watching the ted movie I was doing a lot of reading about the case and found out like half the movie is bullshit about the FBI side of things
Also 3 Manson movies coming out this year or the next
Most egregious error?
>One thing the series did fabricate was the profiler's meetings with Kaczynski in prison. Fitzgerald says there was a time when he was scheduled to interview Kaczynski, but the meeting fell through at the last second.
"I was supposed to meet with him in 2007. I drove halfway to the prison," he says. "The correctional officers who handled Kaczynski called and said that he changed his mind and that he was busy that day. This is a guy who is locked up 23/7 in a jail cell, but he was busy."
thewrap.com
>No special analytical technique was necessary. (Jim Fitzgerald was not the first one to make this determination. He reached the same conclusion as did most of the other members of the UTF.)
press.discovery.com
>Manhunt: UNABOMBER is produced by John Goldwyn, serving as consultant to Discovery, Lionsgate, Discovery Channel and Trigger Street Productions. Emmy® Award-winning television producer and director Greg Yaitanes (“Quarry,” “Banshee”) will executive produce, direct and serve as showrunner. The series is created by Andrew Sodroski and Jim Clemente & Tony Gittelson. Jim Fitzgerald will serve as Consulting Producer.
they'll all paint it like he had a big part in the killings no doubt
Bettany was seriously great as Kaczynski
>Most egregious error?
Fitz had almost nothing to do with the case at all and it was mostly solved by a team and Ted's brother and his lawyer who already knew Ted was probably the bomber and had a bunch of evidence plus a bunch of dudes on the unabomber team basically said none of how the FBI came to the conclusion and arrest happened the way it's shown
chron.com
Mindhunter was pretty great but that ending was pretty limp. Season 2 when?
>Jim Fitzgerald was not the first one to make this determination
>Jim Fitzgerald will serve as Consulting Producer.
KEK
McVeigh did nothing wrong
>at parties
dumb normie
Sam Worthington is a trash-tier actor and the only reason he got that role was because he sat on Kevin Spacey's lap.
Still a good show.
samefag just butthurt he wasn't as smart as Fitzboy
so basically everything but the cabin scenes are just bullshit?
Manhunt: Unabomber was garbage, couldn't even make it through half the season because the acting and the writing were so weak compard to Mindhunter
i loved it. the only thing i didn't like was the moralising about ''love'' in the end
That was a nickname the mailmen made up. It's short for 'University Bomber'. The Unabomber was a terrorist that hated tall buildings and planes.
>a century from now some hack will make an office comedy about it
I don't know why I always thought Dahmer was sad and remorseful. He sounds like an asshole.
Sup Forums is normcore now. Get used to it you tendie eating fuck.
Close. It's UNiversity and Airline Bomber.
Oh yeah.
Did he actually do a successful airline bombing? The only one I remember is the bomb that just filled the plane with smoke because it wasn't made properly
