I know of its flaws but damn Episode VII is entertaining

...

I agree bro, at least it was very fun and funny. I liked the joke at the beginning it was funny, the ways it subverted a new hope was also fun. I like Finn he was very fun and his relationship with Rey was obviously fun. Overall a fun movie with the best star wars death in the whole series.

Oh, I almost forgot. That ending shot was groundbreaking, not even static. Very fun and it felt fresh again

>episode 9 comes out
>"I know of its flaws but damn Episode VIII is entertaining"

Die Hard 4 Effect.

When Die Hard 4, all the fans thought it was a giant pos. Then Die Hard 5 came out, and all of a sudden Die Hard 4 was not that bad anymore.

How the fuck is what Han being ruined while mar'rey sue saves the day entertaining?

no
kys

dude, just turn off your brain

i can see that someone is entertained by this movie who never saw the previous Star Wars movies

4 was fine though, you a fan of the Fett?

but was it fun though?

How was Han ruined?

It was fun. If you hate this you basically hate ANH.

Autists wanted Han to be le ebin Republic general like in their precious EU

>it was very fun and funny
>I liked the joke at the beginning it was funny

His character development from the entire OT was thrown out.

>if you hate hydrox then you basically hate oreos

There's not a single Star Wars movie that didn't have at least some stuff I liked. Force Awakens is probably the one I'd consider the second worst but it's still fine.

What happens in TFA that throws out his development from the OT? Which scenes and lines of dialogue do this?

TFA was fine, biggest flaws were the monster scene and the lame resistance. Finn was funny, Poe was likeable, Rey was okay, Kylo was interesting and Han was decent

TLJ took everything bad in TFA and made it the entire movie, and completely failed to answer any questions or move the storyline forward. Rian Johnson just autistically shat over the series with SJW netflix original tier sideplots

>this

It was a goofy-good time and Marvel funny. Give it a 9.3/10.

They're either playing stupid or they haven't seen the OT.

>I know of its flaws but damn Episode VII is entertaining

lmao what? Han was a dyed in the wool outsider, his life in TFA made perfect sense. There was no way he was going to sit at Leia's side and be a good diplomat once the war was over.

Is it safe to come out now? I liked TFA since day one, but everyone on Sup Forums has rabidly shat on it to the point of making discussion pointless.

What a reddit fucking post, Jesus.

It’s not. Fuck off retard.

Reddit fuck pls go

Stop pulling shit from your gaping asshole. No it wasn't.

>We have millions of StormTroopers and we have an important mission
>Oh snap one of our elite murder squad guys is sick, send that janitor too

>le ebin Republic general
i can't think of something more sacrilegious to his character than him being a general. it needs a special kind of depravity to do that to Han Solo. I really enjoyed him in TFA

He got divorced with leia and was a shitty dad. He did nothing and went back to how he was pre ep 4. Never mind that he apparently knew the falcon less than rey.

That’s the difference between VII and VIII, VIII doesn’t even manage to be coherent enough to be enjoyable.
