Do you think everyone who worked with Weinstein knew, or is it like when a weird guy in the neighborhood turns out to be a child molester, and everyone is "shocked" and say things like
>"We always knew he was kinda off, but we never thought he would do this kind of thing."
>"Everyone heard the rumors, but we never thought they were true!"
All he did was trade women immense success for sexual favors, some of which were a little taboo. That's it. Comparing him to a child rapist is a huge, massive leap.
James Peterson
Probably a lot of people heard something here and there. But what are you gonna do drop your schedule to go be an investigative sleuth?
Jeremiah Ward
This entire issue says a whole lot more about women than it does about men.
Dominic Rodriguez
Well he didnt do anything illegal. Just immoral by libtards standards
Brayden James
Everyone knew. Hollywood has worked that way since its inception.
Samuel Stewart
>(you)
I only used it as an example because of the "exploitative" nature and the power dynamic.
My point was about the reaction, not so much about what he did.
Carson Reyes
>Wait a minute, you're telling me that Harvey hired this talentless piece of ass just because she sucked his dick? Oh my God, who cares? I think it went down like this.
dude i can imagine seth rogens beggin' Ol' dirty Harv to throw some pussy his way
Samuel Hall
Yes, perverts in Hollywood are an anomaly. Nobody knew.
Isaac Reyes
well until this dystopian age we live in now nobody cared. nobody felt bad for these whores who got to be extremely rich and famous because why the fuck should they?
Liam Scott
Followup question. Obviously Weinstein is the fall guy, but do you think he's the only offender, or just the worst?
James Nelson
Weinstein did nothing wrong. Men of money and prestige have a right to use their influence to get women. You snowflakes want to take away a corner-stone commodity of our entire civilization and for what? So you virtue signal (be you on the left or right) to your fellow soyboys about how morally righteous you are? So we can all devolve to a point where the foundations of the male-female dynamic completely crumble? What are you going to replace it with user? Tell me, I'm listening.
Jackson Lewis
Everyone knew. It's a trade secret and you're naive if you think it has stopped completely because one guy got outed. There are still women working right now who won't tell their stories about him, because they have zero dignity left and would rather protect their own careers than help Hollywood as a whole. Jennifer Lawrence is one of them, since her heavily condensed story was "he was a jerk and then I just moved on." She didn't get where she was by acting, because she can't act for shit.
Samuel Green
>did people know he wanted to fug models and actresses ?????
lmao this wasn't a bad thing until current year
amerifats should just legalize prostitution already so they don't have to deal with this problem
Lincoln Anderson
Wait a second. If that joke turned out to be true then what about youtu.be/51xzLNjJrDE
Luis Gomez
He's neither the only offender nor the worst. The worst are smarter than Weinstein and know how to blackmail their victims. The worst will never be known.
Asher Torres
The only way to Legalize prostitution without huge moral outrage would be to go back in time and never ban it to begin with.
Jaxson Thomas
>the only offender no >the worst no
I still don't know what the offense is. Actress wants to get ahead in the game so she fucks the top Jew. What's a Jew to do? "Oh no goyette, I only hire based on skill" give me a break, this is acting for crying out loud.
Caleb Myers
He got away with it because he was allowed to because it was the norm in Hollywood. Then 2017 came and some publications just salivated over exposing someone and having the big scoop of the year and women we're like "oh shit this is a perfect opportunity to scream about every encounter I've ever had with a male" and here we are
Noah Bell
>do you think he's the only offender, or just the worst? No way he's the only one, sleeping with the producer for roles is common practice in Hollywood, and doubtless there are some really perverted ones who get into some fucked up shit which everyone tolerates because they're influential and the key to advancement in wealth and careers.
Jack Hughes
the worst are the ones who are fucking children and they are still out there fucking children.
guys like Weinstein, though corrupt and generally shitty people, really weren't that bad. those hoes knew the score and played anyways. if you want to feel bad for any one of harv's "victims" feel bad for the talented waitress who refused to blow him and wound up never having a career because of it.
Oliver Brown
Germany legalized prostitution in 2002.
Cameron Price
there's a bunch of people in lala land that you would like to meet: the late sandy gallin, barry diller and calvin klein; jeff katzenberg and spielberg making the bridge between them, david geffen
Michael Gomez
>feel bad for the talented waitress who refused to blow him and wound up never having a career because of it. I kind of do.
Camden Brown
Not only did they know, many women actually counted on it. Every time one of Harvey's girls won a big part, and had it reinforced with an aggressive Oscar campaign, she happily fucked a real and talented actress out of that career opportunity
If someone flipped a switch that suddenly made Hollywood hiring practices purely about acting chops first and foremost, you wouldn't recognize a single female actor in any movie coming out. But you'd be impressed with how believable they were, and how authentic their emotional range was.
Guys are a bit harder to evaluate. Spacey is good actor. But still likely got his break-thru roles because of his gay scene connections (Usual Suspects). But then again, he may have broken though earlier in his career on acting skill alone.
