Actually the french were descended from the Germanic Franks, they just took the Roman language. The Gauls were Celts whose remnants were pushed to Brittany as germanic tribes took control of the Roman province of Gaul

If you look at the demographics of the UK, the country is 87% white give or take. If it were simply a question of demographics we would see twice as many Asians than Black British on TV and in other forms of media but this isn't the case.
