In this thread, we will one by one say something nice about Episode VIII.

I'll Start

just fucking go back faggot

I like when Luke drank titty milk

>When Kylo killed Snoke my friends and I exchanged glances with the soyboy expression on our faces

Kylo had zero comic relief save for the shirtless thing but don't let that distract you from how much of a shitheap it was.

No. It's 100% garbage.

>I like when Luke drank titty milk

I like that haven't seen it.

People sure are dramatic about a movie series that wasn't that great to begin with

i liked how BAD ASS leia was!

youtube.com/watch?v=e9vrfEoc8_g

Shut the fuck up about Star Wars already.

>it's only a movie
>cares deeply about his character and is hurt by all this but can't say his true feelings because of contracts

you could always go back

>lmao brah I grew up with pokemon

I loved how progressive it was

...

It's just autistis projecting their own feelings onto Hamill

I think it's hilarious that the villains of the new trilogy are impotent manchildren who take Star Wars way too seriously and are lashing out because they can't let go of the power fantasy and we're now seeing the same thing take place irl

I think Kylo Ren was great. Maybe because he's the one having the Hero's Journey, and not the actual protagonist, for some reason.

i liked it :3

Yea, we know, its just the numbing of generic news must be going to him

TLJ is a non-stop tour de force SJW power fantasy.

1. Rey is perfect at everything and represents women being empowered by a divine feminine force.

2. Holdo demonstrates female leadership and demonstrates the unquestionable superiority of the female intellect.

3. Leia represents the ability of women to tap into previously untapped potential and use it more effectively then their male counter parts.

4. Rose represents the feminine dream of utopia and how it is in conflict with male dominated/engineered capitalism, and that women have a deeper connection with animal and mother nature than men.

Honestly, I don't think you get TLJ at all.

He wasn't having the hero's journey at all. Adam Driver is such a great actor that he can take a 2D character and make him seem 3D.

...

It wasn't overly long

...

it was almost better than having fire ants biting my whole body for 2 hours

...

I liked the nods to the Old Republic era, maybe it's not completely dead since it was the best part of the old EU canon.

what nods?

the best StarWars movie in my book. I liked the OT, loved the PT (i grew up with them), kinda meh on TFA, but TLJ is simply cathartic.

The kylo/rey scenes were alright

Didn't one of the books in Luke's library have the Old Republic insignia on the front, and he called it a remnant of that era? Or maybe that was just my brain deceiving me in its search for a modicum of redemption for my wasted money and time on release night.

contrarian in action

...

you disgust me faggot.

Not really, i like what like and don't care about other people's opinion on what i like. Also i don't care much about herd mentality.

That part where Poe stomped out the bottom of the salt-speeder cabin and you saw the sole of his boot got me half-hard

How the fuck was it "cathartic"?

holy shit. i never realized it until you posted this meme but it's unironically true. she's doing the same thing the emperor wanted to do -- remake the galaxy in her image.

she's not just an annoying feminist pushing her sjw drivel.

she's literally the bad guy.

Basically it was cathartic to me, because it resonated with me, thats why i love it.

Thats why i don't care about what you faggots or anyone think about it.

Art (unlike entertainment) is supposed to be subjective, thats why i consider TLJ art in the cinematic sense and not your usual blockbuster garbage.

I also consider ROTS art and ESB from this franchise.

>holy shit.
>unironically
kill yourself homo

>Basically it was cathartic to me, because it resonated with me, thats why i love it.
>I liked it because I liked it
Absolutely meaningless. You didn't answer my question at all.

stop giving the redditfag attention user

Personally I liked it when Luke walked out onto Crait while the back half of youtube.com/watch?v=ZHb9T6WvvW0 played. It felt like Luke had finally come back to his senses after a movie and 3/4ths of being absent and then grumpy.
The shoulder brushing off after the barrage of lasers felt a bit much though.

I genuinely liked the scene where the porgs ruin Chewbacca's meal because they are watching sadly at the dead porg being roasted.

Your opinion is meaningless to me...like i said.

I liked when it ended.

Porgs weren't terrible, surprisingly. They were bullied and abused in every scene they're in.

They became cool to hate. As someone going in more looking to find reasons to hate them, they were pretty inoffensive in all honesty.

ok fine

Less people will give Jewsney their money after that failure.

>mfw autists say Jar Jar and Ewoks were better because "at least they were important to the story!!!"

Yeah, because merch bait should be shoehorned front line and center into the narrative instead of being funny animals that are used in three scenes

It ended.
