Wtf this was like a SyFy original. Even that goddess Debicki couldn't save it. What went wrong?

wtf this was like a SyFy original. Even that goddess Debicki couldn't save it. What went wrong?

JJ going full jew and slapping the cloverfield name on a movie that originally had nothing to do with cloverfield and he just shoved some references in. Also the unexplained arm and unaddressed station trying to kill them

I'm just an autist but it drove me fucking crazy that they kept saying "dimensions" when they meant "universes".

Its Netflix dude what did you expect, HBO?

The movie had some good ideas and actors that I actually like but they did fuck up at numerous points such as the inconsistent tone, empty characters, retard science and some unexplained shit (though that last point can be skipped for now because JJ is supposedly going to explain it at the next movie I doubt it)

How the fuck did the gravity work?

It really felt like it was written by a committee.

Was the german actually a traitor?
I think he was and the dimension/universe memes were a good excuse for him

movie was by a nigger who literally only did short films before this. one of his short films was called nigger

that should explain every single thing

Worst movie I've ever seen.

...

Spinning the station would simulate gravity. Works irl.

>there's gravity in the central spire after the oxygen explosion
>the room debicki gets sucked out of is horizontal compared to the window, which is facing outwards

Even Bruhl couldn't save it and he's the best performance in this

It's no worse than the other two movies.

Centripetal force is centre seeking, that's literally what centripetal means. They should be walking on the outside of the rings, not the bottom.

>smartest people on Earth are in that station
>they're all retarded

>it's another "everyone can speak Mandarin" sci-fi

>sound in space

>writer: let's make the arm try to write a message
>people: that doesn't make any sense
>writer: but it totally duuuuuuhs the dimensions are intertwined and chaos and shit
>people: but how does the arm know
>writer: IT'S FUCKING CHAOS SO EVERYTHING IS REALLY WEIRD OK?

that made me want to vomit up worms

>its a really terrible film
They tried to explain the gravity, doesn't mean they did it correctly. Like everything else in the film, actually. Worst cloverfield so far and I can't believe there's already a 4th coming in October. Is he gonna shit these out like Marvel films?

>>writer: IT'S FUCKING CHAOS SO EVERYTHING IS REALLY WEIRD OK?
I can picture it perfectly
>writer: well we've got donal logue in this piece of shit right? just make him spew a bunch of nonsense about demons and monsters and dimemsions on a tv interview that the astronauts are watching for some reason

It wasnt really unexplained. It's just that the explanation is fuckin bullshit

they ripped a hole through space and time, the universe was trying to kill them so things could go back to normal.
I mean yea it still fucking disappointed me because instead of giving more of the monster or aliens we just got a 5 second cameo.

So why the fuck is universe not trying to kill the kaju then

>discover a universe where debicki exists
>one-arm, nazi, indian guy, and the black captain still want to go back to their own universe

What the fuck was their problem?

>Not traveling to all universes and stealing all of debickis for yourself

You just described Netflix original content.

I honestly can't believe how bad this movie was. They had such an easy opportunity to make some comfy alien flick with jump spooks and they tried so hard to make it a complex emotional plot. This might actually be worse than The Snowman

>t. alt-right nazis
lmao. Watch it again but this time without being retarded.

The lead mutt actress ruins it

>all of the crew seems to speak each other’s languages
>chink can’t speak any other language besides ching ching bing bong
It felt like chink pandering and it really pissed me off

>unexplained arm
Are you retarded?
When they changed dimension their alter ego kinda fusioned with their body and universe b mundy was only able to move the hand while volkov alter ego moved his eye and told him schmidt is a spy

i really liked Final Destination 7: In Space!

Universe B Mundy died 18 months before when the Cloverfield Station crashed in that universe.

It’s still the proper explanation

But if Mundy B died 18 months before how did he move the hand?

Why did the water in the airlock freeze and kill Tam?

Jensen was trapped physically inside the spaceship. Similarly, Mundy was also trapped, non-corporeally. Much like Dr. Manhattan's consciousness still existed in The Watchmen after he was initially vaporized. When Mundy 1 had his arm in the wall, Mundy 2 used this opportunity to take control of his hand, as it was the only hand he would be able to control, due to aligned nerve endings. This explains why the hand knew to communicate with them, because he could still see and head them, though he could only physically affect the hand.

>le alt-right boogeyman
Get a grip
