Is this show normie-tier or actually worth watching?
Is this show normie-tier or actually worth watching?
Friends is trash. No show ever did more to bring degeneracy into mainstream normie goyim's lives. In the relatively innocent 90's you had introduced:
The breaking down of traditional relationships and marriage: "Hey, I slept with you, and you and you, and here's my new boyfriend... but let's all hang out like a big happy group! That's what cool people do!"
Normalization of gay relationships and adoption.
Race mixing.
etc. etc.
This is how the "long march" of leftism works... normalization of something that was then quite radical, that two decades later, looks quaint. Hence all these Friends shill threads as of late.
you're a normal fag. fuck off you little cock sucker.
It's a comfy show that's it
>bringing friends
if you're a 90's born queer raised by a single mother
worth watching
>friends gets added to netflix
>normies post about it on Sup Forums
fuck this board fuck this life this is the straw that broke the camel's back I'm hanging myself no stream
it shows that women embrace sex, so yes it is realistic and worth watching
In Australia they've been consistently running re-runs pretty much since it ended so it's a good show to watch if there's nothing else on. It's comfy and that's it. I'd get bored marathoning it and the only people who really love the show are girls in their teens/20s so it's really not necessary viewing but it's okay if you want something to watch while you're eating Macca's at 6pm and want something that'll make you laugh every once in a while that has hot people in it and the only other things that're on is fishing shows, the news and Everybody Loves Raymond.
Friends is the definition of Normie
I liked it when I was 10 and watched it with my parents
Now I hate it because numales everywhere keep overrating and shilling it
>1/16 portuguese
I remember that episode. Phoebe had her 30th birthday and was sad for never meeting any portuguese yet, so Joey told her he was 1/16 portuguese
And he also thought that Drake Ramoray was a Portuguese name
god friends is awful
It's not just worth watching, you should use it. Don't binge it, though, it wasn't made for that. When you get bored and can't think of anything to do, stick an episode or two on, grab a beer and just chill.
Pretty chill show even though Sup Forums shits on it.
I put it on in the background while I do my work from home job and shitpost here. It's perfect for that in that it's not too distracting but still has some entertaining moments that don't drag on.
Yeah, we get it, you watched that Ben Shapiro video, now tell something we don't know.
I think he's here to stay
It's 90s normie kind. By today's ridiculous standards, it's apparently Triumph of the Will.
Is it worth watching? It's a long ass show and the quality sags badly from the middle onwards. The show pioneered the will they/won't they formula that's become ubiquitous, so what was new and interesting to people then, is stale as fuck now.
Still has a lot of really funny moments though, especially from David Schwimmer. Just read a brief synopsis of the "plot" and watch the 'best-of' videos on YouTube.
>It's a long ass show
why do youngfags all talk like niggers?
for white people. literally the most racist show ive ever seen, dont watch it
>youngfags

Admit it, this scene was kino
It sure must be very important for us to know that you don't like jews since you keep posting that image in every Friends thread.
Since you're on Sup Forums there's pretty much a 90% chance that your favourite character will end up being Chandler and if you intend on watching the entirety of the show and trying to experience it as you would serious kino instead of like a regular sitcom and just watching reruns every once in a while when you're bored like most people do and if you have literally never seen an episode of it before then you're going to be really really disappointed by the time you get through the latter seasons.
"No!"
it's one of the most popular comedy series out there, if that's not normie-tier I don't know what is
that being said, it's pretty comfy
so annoyed they stopped showing mash reruns
i need some context never seen it
I watched it as a kid and I loved it because I thought this is the life ahead of me (good friends, nice apartment,a lot of girlfriends). When you get to be older than the cast at the beginning, that's when reality hits you.
this is a good post
>Wah there's only a single black character in 236 episodes!
And it's a better show because of it.
Friend's used to air on NBC on Thursday nights at like 9 oclock, probably the best sitcom slot or whatever. It was meant to be watched weekly because it had consistent jokes (for the time) and a loose enough storyline that could carry between episodes if need be, and token characters/gags for all ages to enjoy. OP if you plan on binging Friends on netflix or some shit, you're likely going to have a bad time (unless you're retarded), but if you smoke a bowl and put an episode or two on like once a week you will have a great friends experience.
Binge watch Mad Men instead
is that David Schwimmer?
No, it's Russ.
You must be pretty pathetic if you can't enjoy Friends sober.
Its funny, Chandler is funny i dont give a fuck.
>series spends its whole run trying to persuade us that Phoebe's attractive
Also young Chandler is best character by far. Pretty much the older seasons were the only ones worth watching
he gets lame when he marries monica
Im rewatching from the start on shitflix im on the 2nd season. Hes still funny.
Normie as fuck. Without nostalgia it's garbage. The writing is bad, the characters insufferable, and the storylines banal.
He's lying. I've marathoned all 9 seasons so far and I'm a guy. Shows funny
Rachel dates a guy who looks and acts exactly like Ross but doesn't initially see the similarity.
H-how old is the cast in the beginning??
It got added to netflix like four years ago
Chandler 26 (actor 24)
Rachel 24 (actress 25)
Joey 25 (actor 27)
Monica 24 (actress 30)
Phoebe 27 (actress 31)
Ross 27 (actor is the same age)
...
It's the same as any other shitcom. Just put it on for background noise and let the show run it's course that way. The only thing that determines the quality of a sitcom is whether it's lucky enough to become popular.
...
Silly Americans, the world doesn't revolve around you
Honestly this. In my country everyone gushes on and on about Friends but almost no-one talks about Seinfeld, Frasier or other equally popular, but superior shows.
Most kino scene?
My vote is "Ross's 'Watching TV' bit"
Oh my fucking god, Monica hit her prime past 30???
No wonder she went bollocks with the plastic surgery. For someone who has always been unrealistically beautiful, watching yourself age is fucking tragic.
I was about to take a nap until I read this.
I've never understood how ambitious people stay motivated, but the deep despair of wasting away my life always gives me a kick in the ass. It got me out of NEETdom after way too long.
I'm calling my work to see if they need me to do anything. Get that $$$$
The ages were very inconsistent for the entirety of the show tbf
you missed it. should have been watching this 15 years ago
I still don't understand how they could get somebody looking so much like Ross!
Where is this guy at today? any news?
>the episode that Monica and Chandler stay at the Trump tower and praise Donald Trump instead of bashing him non stop
Why was the 90s so much better?
S1 Phoebe is a qt3.14
Ironically Chandler aged the worst. I'm surprised that Cox was already that old in 1994 considering how good she looked in those first few seasons. Kudrow definitely looked her age though.
that better be piss in that glass
Frasier is kino.
Back in the 90's when you had to pick and choose what to watch based on what aired on broadcast TV Friends was worth a laugh. It's not the 90's and broadcast TV is dead. Friends is a memory and if it's not a memory you share there's not much reason for you to watch it. Unless you actually watch TV like a fossil and it just happens to be on.
friends and ER are the two shows with constant high ratings.
It's good and comfy. Very popular.
Grind that $7.55 an hour son, that shit adds up! Work your ass do the bone 60 hours a week, and don’t forget to pay your taxes! Just then you might have a couple hundred bucks left at the end of the month, and never forget that you’re lucky to be so privileged ;)
I watch the show from start to finish about 4 times a year.
...
What do you think you will do? Become a dot com billionaire? A world famous artist?
>60 hours a week
Pretty much everyone in my country works 40 hours a week, except maybe for programmers with tight schedules
That was the only season where she looked good.
My vote is when Ross met Russ.
Both.
Watch Seasons 1-5.
Everything after that is garbage.
>The show pioneered the will they/won't they formula that's become ubiquitous
Cheers did that, you fucking dumbass.
>[1] "According to a October 1996 article in Rolling Stone Magazine, Matt LeBlanc who portrayed Joey Tribiani on the hit NBC 90's sitcom 'Friends' was completely unaware that the Ross doppleganger 'Russ' was played by the same actor. 'It was really weird', says co-star Lisa Kudrow, 'Matt would keep saying "wow, this guy really looks like David [Schwimmer]" and "how come David isn't around on the set to meet this guy!". 'It was so unreal, but we just didn't have the heart to tell him.'"
No one disagrees that Seinfeld is better than Friends (both get a fair share of threads on Sup Forums). Frasier is funnier than Friends, but it goes on about 4 seasons too long and the show was always a bit formulaic.
I am really privileged though
t. Finn
To be fair LeBlanc didn't have many dollars to his name at that point. It's understandable that he didn't know.
Friends is the best non-normie show ever.
It gives you a false sense of community and family just by watching it. I usually feel lonely, detached and shit because am mildly autistic, but when I watch Friends I feel absolutely normal. I actually go out and do things and progress in life. Too bad I've rewatched it too much.
It’s weird seeing Matt LeBlanc in friends. I first saw him in the Lost in Space movie.
>lost in kino
"Normie" is a normal fag word
t. Brown Sup Forums poster
I bet you watch Gary Vaynerchuk videos.
What's the point of Ursula if her actress doesn't put in any nuances into the character to distinguish her from Phoebe?
