You're asked to choose an old cartoon series to receive the Voltron remake treatment.

Which title is it?

Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea

X-Men, surely. It's never bad to have too many x-men shows.

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs

>receive the Voltron remake treatment
So fuck it up beyond recognition? Dunno, not sure I hate any old cartoons quite THAT much.

None. I wouldn't wish that on my beloved shows.

Megas XLR

...

Grimm's Fairytale Classics.

SWAT CATS

Either of these is the correct answer.

Give me another Jonny Quest reboot.

The point is to pick a show you don't like too much that you think can only be improved.

Darkstalkers

Flash Gordon. Or maybe Buck Rogers.

Muppet Babies

...

Something else for the fujos.

D.I.C.E.

but i'd be surprised if anyone other than me even remembers it

Let the world burn

>inb4 they make captain planet gay

There was never a cartoon, but why not Zen Intergalactic Ninja?

I thought he already was?

Anyway, the obvious answer to OP's question is Taz Mania.

Time for another He-Man remake.

Bots Master

...

Jem

...

>D.I.C.E.
Isn't there some rule or something that states you can't have an acronym inside of another acronym?

Ooooh, yes please

Yeah, probably this one.

>So fuck it up beyond recognition?
Yeah like what Voltron did to GoLion and Dairugger XV
Also:
>Pretending Voltron in any incarnation was any good

I was going to say Robotech, but they'd probably neuter the violence.

Robotech was actually MORE violent than Macross at the end

I grew up on Voltron and Gatchaman. I would kill for Dreamworks to take on them.

...

MASK.

It's the mighty power that can save the day.

You know, as much as I love M.A.S.K, and as much as I really want to say C.O.P.S., I'm going to have to go with giving Weisman another chance.

Spiral Zone

>EARTH'S MOST POWERFUL SOLDIERS

Herculoids.

Man 80's cartoons were so kick ass.

Enough time has passed, right?

You are wrong my friend.

Just watch the old shows, grampa.

>You're asked to choose an old cartoon series to receive the Voltron remake treatment

So be made into a mediocre show with a horrendous fandom? No thanks.

you already know

Best answer, I need this!

Doozy Bots, the real American Gundam

Rainbow Brite

I think this is the only real answer desu.

I always loved She-Ra. So either this or Transformers

Jem and the Holograms or nothing. I want my 80's throw back drug trip dammit.

No.

I'm impressed at how well it killed the Thundercats brand, though.

They're going to save the world today
The Egyptian way

In the name of all that is holy, yes.

I... would give this one a try but I'd settle for a legit Heavy metal-ish anthology series about a space ninja in comic form if not animated; Zen's a cool concept but needs to be done right.

As long as it's more He-Man/Thundercats opposed to DC comics He-Man, I would die a happy man.

...Oh jeez, I remember this one. Feels more like a good video game foundation.

Alternatively: Bucky O'Hare. GotG is popular as fuck these days, let's give the Righteous Indignation another chance.

THEY BITE THEY FIGHT THEY STAND FOR EVERYTHING RIGHT

Jem and the holograms, the only thing they could do to make it bad is adapt the movie instead.

Street Sharks, mostly because I want to see what the hell they'd do with it.

I almost said "but Saint Seiya remake is arleady in work", and then I understood it's different show. Ronin Warriors, right?

I've never watched Voltron, old or new; but if we're just talking rebooting and revitalizing a show, it's Dungeons and Dragons.

I'd give it a subtitle, though; instead of a lot of one-shot adventures and extending the series as long as possible, it would be a campaign; we'd eventually end it and make another series, with a different subtitle, setting and characters. The only element common to all campaigns would be the Dungeon Master.

They were basically the same thing.

Gatchaman kind of already good a good reboot in Japan. Theya ctually make the CGI fight scenes work

The comic book is actually a very good modernization

Exo Squad
Dungeons and Dragons
Transformers G1
Beast Wars
GI Joe

GAAAAH okay i want to give the voltron treatment to
Teen Titans
Duck Dodgers
Regular Show (my god that would be alot of work)
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Wander Over Yonder

>Voltron remake treatment
Why would I want more forgettable garbage?

At least it's good for porn.

>G Force
>Jem and the Holograms
>Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
I would have also wanted a Chipmunks reboot if the live action and the new abomination of a series didn't exist.

This would only be good for the lewds. They should do it.

The players could be the same too, just different characters. Wizard plays Fighter etc.

toss in some hints at a meta-narrative and this would be sperg heaven
