Anyone have similar movies? I thought this movie was going to be shitty but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
The only thing similar i can really think of is "The Witch" and "The House of the Devil" which are both movies I liked a lot.
Obscure Horror Movies
Yeah, I have an obscure horror movie for you
My Life ;__;
:(
Try Black Mountain Side. Quite good and same build up. An amazing thing about it is very little actual score in the movie. Most of it is just silent which is very effective.
I'll give it a shot! Thanks! I've never heard of this movie
pretty much any ti west movie. The Roost is pretty under seen
Fuck I've never heard of it and i thought i watched all of Ti Wests stuff
It's fine, but there are two things I didn't like
gunshots are basically silent for some reason
Sometimes it really shows how cheap the costume for the "monster" is
'I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House'
its from the same director
Not obscure, per se, but about as well known as Blackcoat's Daughter:
They Look Like People
Absentia
Lovely Molly
Splinter
Sauna/Filth
Let's Scare Jessica to Death
Cure
Ils/Them
Oh and these 2 as well:
Resolution
The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh
Can you explain the plot. I didn’t understand shit.
it seems like most people think it is shit but I really liked YellowBrickRoad maybe it didn't execute perfectly but I really liked the concepts and it is a movie that I always find in the back of my mind
Mad Men girl is young Emma Roberts
there is the plot in the past (Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Boynton) and the plot in the present (Emma Roberts and that older couple)
In the past, Shipka is possessed/under dark influence and kills the remaining people at the school during the break. The demon leaves her after.
Years later, the old couple are driving up to the school and pick up Emma Roberts' character along the way. The twist is that the older couple's daughter was the one murdered in the past by Shipka's character and the demon has now attached itself to Emma Roberts' character who kills the old couple
>I really liked YellowBrickRoad
Yeah, being a New Hampshire native might have influenced my opinion a little, but I liked this movie, too.
read this
>obscure movies
no, these two movies get shilled by soy boys all the fucking time
>it's like so scary cuz nothing happens!!
Ah. Got it then. Thanks.
It was good especially when compared to other horror’s of similar budget.
Name a scary movie then you fag
Yeah it through me off at first too
