>Dozens
Aren't there only like 23 episodes?

That 9/11 joke literally sounded like something a post on here making fun of the show.

two*

>That's not the *burp* point mmMorty...it was used as a *burp* m-metaphor!

Honestly, if people didn't make a such a meme out of it the episode would be better received.

>One episode that change a character, and probably ruin it for the rest of the series
Ftfy

DAE there is no god? I love watching intelligient shows like Rick and Morty with my fellow inlightened atheist friends xD

The pickle Rick part was great, everything else was shit, specially the self insert character.

idk user 4 shit episodes out of 24 is a pretty bad ratio

>If I use memes I can avoid any legitimate criticism of the show

Why does Reddit make people sperg out so much?

This season has been all memes and exposition. I don't want to watch a bunch of people monologuing at each other about how great/shitty they are.

>pickle Rick
>bad

>9.2 IMDb
>implying it wasn't well received
I mean of course it wasn't well received here. Here BvS is well received and anything with a woman involved is bad until proven half bad.

>one bad episode

You mean S03E02? Cause Pickle Rick was fine.

your fedora is showing

>one bad episode airs after an entire season of bad ones

ftfy

>dozens of great ones
Such as?

damn....... I'm a rick and Morty supporter now......

...

>Didn't see the Sup Forumsntrarian flip coming from a mile away
Welcome to Sup Forums, where nobody reads comics and everybody hates everything.

Ahh *burp* I-I'M PICKLE RIIIIIICCCCKKKKKK!!!!!!

Pickle Rick is in the house toniiiiight!!!!!!

And here children, we see redditors out of their natural habitat, struggling to keep themselves hidden from predators.

The female "writers" ruined the show. Mark my words, there'll be an episode where they'll be about to reveal him, and then Pickle Rick will swoop out of nowhere and go "*BURP* GOD ISN'T REAL MORTY XDDD FUCK DRUMPF AND FUCK WHITE PEOPLE M-M-MORTY *BURP* G-GOD ISN'T REAL M-MORTY I'M PICKLE RICK BIIITCHES" and then the therapist character will also jump out of nowhere and start le epically BTFOing him and then the reddit alien also appears and says "Upvote!" and then the credits play and it's a reference to guardians of the galaxy and stranger things and then the post credits sequence has rick in an anarchist outfit bashing le fash while saying fucking random wacky catchphrases like "grass is bad!! xDD"

^^^Anyone who replies to this is either a newfag or a casual.

whatever man

I dropped at the S3E1 because it didnt make me laugh once and because I have enough cynicism and nihilism in my real life

Well, it is sort of hard to conceal a hat, I would think...

Didn't Rick already tell Summer there was no god in one of the first episodes?

>at mcd's first time in years
>ask for quarterpounder
>hear guy in the back say HERE COMES THA PIKLE RIIIIICKS
>a few others laugh
I fucking hate the public. True story.

>dozens of great ones
LOL

Can someone tell me what's wrong with the new episodes, quality-wise? I just watched S3E2 and 3 for the first time and nothing was wrong to me. Plot made sense. Adventures were still there. They're pretty jaded to them now, but thats to be expected. Theyre pretty fed up with all the shit. Is it just the plot being that they're more grounded now because of an earthly problem that you dont like? Do you guys who have such a problem with the show just miss when there was more galactic problems?

...

that fiIename makes 0 sense

The Rickshank Rickdemption wasn't memes
Rickmancing The Stone wasn't memes
Pickle Rick was a meme but the episode had something important to say beyond the meme

Nothing is wrong with them, some people are just triggered because they hired female writers so they want to convince you it's bad.

Majority of rick and morty fans loved the new episodes, look at those ratings, Season 3 averages at about the same spot as the previous seasons, (actually it averages higher desu)
imdb.com/title/tt2861424/eprate

*BUUURP* y-you gotta use a trip on Sup Forums Morty s-so everyone can *URP* know how much of an attention whore you are *BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP* piCKLE RIIIIIIIIICK! xd

Educate yourselves.

Rick and Morty was always Reddit trash.

Shit. I guess even a broken clock is right twice a day. The fuck has this board come to where I find myself agreeing with a goddamn tripfag?

i must remind them.

Rick and Morty is fine. Not great, but fine. the show is a solid 7/10 but it's overly zealous meme screeching fan base drop it down to a 5.5-6/10 just by mere proximity.

>catering to capitalist utilities
you have to go back

Hey remind them of this!
I'm Xavier ReneRick Scientist!!!

He hits me because he loves me
That's stupid, he probably hits you because you are dumb.

FUCK ALL OF YOU I LOVE SEASON 3

ALL OF YOU ARE DESTROYERS OF ALL HOPE AND HAPPINESS

>glot of surface pop culture references
>juvenile nihilism
>toilet humor/wacky babbling
>irreverent violence
>corporate complicity
Huh. So apparently, all of Sup Forums was "Reddit" all along.

This. That whole fucking show is Reddit garbage.

*burp* TH-TH-THERE IS NO GOD MORTY, I'M PICKLE RICK!!!!!!

holy fuck who made that waste of time?

So is there going to be a 'fuck Drumpf' episode or anything like that? I remember some threads a few months back about how Roiland and Harmon weren't getting along because Harmon wanted to add politics to the show.

Hey, if there is Drumpf bashing, at least it'll be one step closer to Back to the Future.

Pickle rick wasn't as bad as rickmancing the stone.
At least there were good action scenes and character development in pixie rick

We get it, you don't like the 'new' female writers of Rick and Morty and want to share your disdain towards them. Doesn't mean you have to clutter Sup Forums with shit threads.

The social media score of the last episode was the highest of the entire series. Bad? I would argue it was the best and most successful episode of the series. You have to look at it as a show with many layers of irony. You think this particular episode will be bad so they make you THINK it's bad all the while making it so bad it's good. Understand now? It was fantastic.

>duh capitalism is bad

no user
you are the reddit

This is the norm. Yes there are shit sjw crap out there but adding a woman in anything doesn't automatically make it shit. I really don't see how picklerick episode is any different than the other ones.

People are grasping at straws.

You aren't wrong. This is the same faggot community that hated samurai Jack. Even tho everyone who grew up watching the show loved it and were satisfied at the conclusion almost decade in the making.

Mark my words every hater for samurai Jack was a dickhead who didn't grow with the show but only binged a few episodes before the final seasons aired. They don't really get the magic of the show.

co is honestly filled with hormone filled kids who have no proper outlet to vent their new found crazy emotions.

I'm RICK RICK MORTY
I * BURP* TURNED MYSELF INTO R-RICK RICK
RICK RICK RICK MORTY

>Realized R&M was shit sice the begining
>Now fans are starting to realize as well
Freude shöne gotterfunken tochter aus Elysium.

You're a bad person for knowingly misrepresentating the criticisms of Jack. The first three episodes of season 5 set the bar ridiculously high and then the quality dropped to being merely okay.

>Even tho everyone who grew up watching the show loved it and were satisfied at the conclusion almost decade in the making.

Completely false, I have rewatched SJ many times over the years, it was one of my favourite childhood shows.
I waited until the whole of season 4 aired before I watched it and didn't let internet opinions make me biased. It was bad. The ending was bad. It felt different from the other seasons. I rewatched it before I watched the new seasons and it's glaringly obvious how different it is.

Also, I've no idea why people are only complaining about Rick and Morty now. I've always hated this show, I gave it it's fair shake and watched the whole first season and hated it.
Idk, maybe people are opening their eyes and seeing that it's not as good as they originally thought now as the initial hype isn't blinding them anymore.

>I waited until the whole of season 4 aired
Oops, season 5 I mean.

>Rick and Morty thread
>WAAAAH SELF INSERT WAAAAAAHHH
>CRINGE REDDIT FEDORA ATHEIST *BUUURP*
>ITS POPULAR THAT MEANS ITS BAD
>REDDIT LIKES IT THAT MEANS ITS BAD
Why even bother making threads for it at this point?

>I don't remember Interdimensional Cable 2

>Show about an edgy scientist shows the scientist being edgy

wtf I hate Rick and Morty now?

Sounds more like Sup Forums than Reddit.

Unpopular opinion:
Not even a so bad episode

shut up, its bad because it changed the narrative and characters

2nd episode was much worse.... I kinda liked the new episode. Wasn't a huge fan of the ending exactly but otherwise I had fun (when I thought I wouldn't).

how do people even like this shit? the first goddamn episode has Freddy krueger and weed, seriously holy shit it already started at the bottom.

The actual reason that Rick turned into a Pickle made perfect sense and actually was well done. First few minutes were fine.

After he got dropped off into the sewer, it just kind of turned to shit as it was just Rick killing things for the sake of it with nothing really funny about it at all. The fact he was a pickle didn't make the scenes funny because they were ultra-violence and "it's a pickle doing it" was a joke that went on too long. It

Beth was completely ruined as a character this episode, with Morty and Summer constantly getting cut off by the bitch that I wouldn't be surprised if most people are now hoping the season ends with the kids going to live with Jerry because it's clear to everyone (perhaps even Rick) that Beth is the problem. The Therapy scenes were ok in the sense that they were the only parts moving the actual seasons overarching plot along, but were just boring otherwise.

Beth and Rick continue to laugh at their feelings and ignore them which is just infuriating at this point. Morty is the only one who feels like he's developing as a character at this point.

Jaguar was literally the only good thing to come from the episode after the first few minutes.

>just one
so this is the new shitpost?

>they want to convince you it's bad.
those two episodes are objectively bad, also your statement is pure absolute paranoia
>PLEASE LOVE THE SHOW !!!!
>Majority of rick and morty fans loved the new episodes
Same fans that think R&M is deep and inteligent humor. No thanks.
If something that defense force are the ones making the "U HATE IT CUZ WOMYN" narrative.

>self insert character
Who?

This was one of those episodes that's mediocre but required because it's going to build up to something. It was a OK set up episode, though the Pickle premise was stupid. I did chuckle at Jaguar and "Goodbye, Slovenya" bits though.

holy shit, this literally sounds like a Sup Forums show.

I'm a survivor.
We're a dying breed.

ITT: Children vs. Manchildren

>one bad episode
>one

Honestly, the first season is the best, with quality gradually declining with each new episode afterward.

In canada?

Susan Sarandon as Dr. Wong.

I don't get it. It implies that Susan Sarandon created the character for her to play. Instead of being cast by the creators to play the role.

You know, thinking about it, could they mean Danny Trejo as Jaguar? If that's the case, it's stupid. That's a typecast character that Danny Trejo often portrays -- a bad-ass tough guy.

And a schnitzel schpritzel flingenheimer to you too.

there's no more than 1 (one) dozen (12) decent rick and morty episodes and pickle rick's one of them

nice trips but that doesn't make you struggle to fit in any less

rick and morty got stale fast
I stopped watching near the end of the first season

why do shows get bad so quickly nowadays?

because you browse Sup Forums

The show was never that good.

PICKLE RICK IS IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT

PICKLE RICK IS GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME

PICKLE RICK WILL MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR MIND

PICKLE RICK IS GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME

Pro tip: Calling a show "reddit" is not a valid argument or criticism

Oh, now I get it!

The joke is that the context of the scene was in facial expressions, so Sup Forums doesn't get it.
Haha, good one guys!

Yes.

>Implying IMDb has been reliable for telling quality

...

Fair points, but this reads more like "what makes Rick & Morty 'Sup Forums'"

>one bad episode
>one

THIS retard right here

Either someone lied to you or you missed the entire point of nearly all of the criticism; the first three episodes were received to rapturous acclaim and then it plummeted to average and predictable at best

Where should I go to watch a live-stream of the new episode tonight? Should I just get on Sup Forums around 08:00 pm(Pacific Time) and look for the stickied thread? I keep missing it.

>mfw it's a "pushes the envelope too far and exposes the weaknesses of the premise and writing that have in fact existed since the first episode" episode

Same, biggest complaint was that cringy speech at the end in the helicopter about him not having to love his family. Seemed a little tryhard and I'm sure it contradicted at least one of Rick's other rants
