So I've just watched it and it was mediocre as hell. So here are my issues:
- Why the fuck nobody goes to the AI saloons. No guests for 40 years, are you serious? They explain people don't go because it's creepy, but why? Not once in the show the AIs act unhumanly weird. They act somewhat weird, but not uncanny valley weird. So what that the women are programmed to want your dick, isn't that what people always wanted? Isn't that what meths do?
- The interrogation construct scene makes no sense other than to do infodump flashbacks. Takashi even confronts his sister later on about the fact that he was tortured, despite that he could have stopped his heart at any second. He didn't make Dmitri lose his guard. He didn't question Dmitri to take info from him. In fact Dmitri only randomly blabbered about the fact that he framed Ryker, he could have not done it at all.
- Why are Envoys so good? They are supposed to be these super terrorists, why? Is is because some black chick asked rhetorical questions while training them? So what, why can't CTAC do the same? Are they chosen by elders? Do their stacks behave differently? Who fucking knows, the show doesn't tell shit.
- Why the fuck does an AI manage to create super killer from a rape victim? Why don't CTAC operatives use time-dilation during trailing, but some random chick can go from fucking scaredy cat into cold-blood killer by training in VR?
- The amount of front nudity in the show doesn't correlate well with childish acting and writing at times. Some of the dialogues remind me of young adult novels.
- Ortega can't act for shit and absolutely ruined every scene she was in
- Why did they frame the Bancroft and act so smug about it? What did THIS Bancroft do? He didn't kill the bitch. His previous copy did. Not only that, his copy did it under rage-virus that is known to make people kill others even if they don't want to. This is fucking Minority Report
