Bird is slang for lady. Her name is basically Lady Lady.

Her name being Lady Bird was totally pointless quirky bullshit, it was never even brought up past the early part of the film and was out of character as she was a pretty normal girl.

She grew out of the quirky shit, that's the point.

It's a 6/10 movie that's getting 10/10s everywhere for some reason
