Tim Allen's character on Tool Time is like the exact polar opposite of Handyman Corner. Tool Time is about giving all the best tools and materials to someone who couldn't put together an Ikea cabinet and laughing as he fails. Handyman Corner is about giving a borderline mechanical savant an infinite pile of junk and a terrible idea, and laughing as he sort of succeeds.
