Fuck you all in the ass, I fucking liked it. Fuck RLM too

Fuck you all in the ass, I fucking liked it. Fuck RLM too.

oh yeah? well fuck you too, faggot. suck my balls

...

>RLM justifying their shit opinions with literal RT score screenshots on screen

Well at least it did something different. Most sci-fi these days is just retarded social messages about class struggle.

weren't they just used as gags with a slide whistle

Yeah, no. They used it like three times, also related to Bright, but the audience score was off course carefully cropped off.

>the paradox justifies monsters appearing anywhere on time and space
mfw we are getting a cloverfield monster vs cowboys

>the cloverfield monster IS a dragon in medieval times

Well they did imply that Lovecraftian shit might happen and I treated it as just that.

it's not great but it's really not all that bad. i am a fan of scifi space cheese though so i feel like maybe that's why it didn't make me wretch.

I just didn't like how they didn't really explain what the Shepard or the Paradox were at any length except for one throwaway line that didn't really explain why the things that were happening were happening during the Monday's arm scene. Gimme some stupid movie science, please.

It's fucking terrible and you should feel bad for liking it.

>mfw they produce a cloverfield movie of every genre

I thought it was fine for a Netflix release.

Mike and Jay are right. Netflix is the new "direct to VHS/DVD. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. I wouldn't have seen this movie in theatres but for something to watch on a free night it hit the spot. Needed more crazy shit/body horror though

It's a decent movie, no idea why people got so autisticly upset about this

Adding the cloverfield stuff was completely unnecessary and only hurt the movie. They should’ve just made it a Alt universe movie

Their Netflix bashing is based on a dumb premise. Clearly Netflix has the luxury to mess around and produce all sorts of dumb shit. If it's a miss, it's still technically a win, so they are free to experiment and might strike gold any time, which is good because most of Hollywood is creatively bankrupt.

how bout you suck my balls?

It was an okay space horror, nothing special, and the scenes on Earth could have easily been removed. The final scene was fucking retarded though.

Because it makes literally no fucking sense at all and it wasn't even intended to be a Cloverfield movie until 10 minutes before it came out. Had this been another forgettable sci-fi b-film, nobody would've given a shit. But we've been duped by Jew Jew Abrams into watching something so utterly terrible and unnecessary, that we have a very legitimate reason to be angry. And no it's not decent. You must be an absolute ape to think that.

Netflix spent a lot of money to get the exclusive for this. For a terrible piece of shit that no one will remember in a week.

There is no explanation. They want you to accept it as science bullcrap beyond our knowledge, but really it's just bad writing. The sooner you'll forget this shitty movie the better, trust me.

But user, I was thoroughly entertained.

RLM is the worst. I hate them. Don't ever listen to RLM.

>i enjuyed itt so iz gud

I don't understand how the Cloverfield "franchise" even has a fanbase. The first movie was a major disappointment. It was terrible. I admit, I saw all three movies, but I don't know why I got suckered into it. First 2 sucked, and the last one is only worth watching once for the cool body horror stuff.

You sound like you like capeshit. 10 Cloverfield Lane is legitimately the only good one, apart from the last 10 minutes, which weren't even intended to be there.

Ehh it felt like I'd seen this film a hundred times before. But it was well made, nothing special.
Entirely mediocre/10

Wrong friendo. I haven't seen a capeshit since Iron Man 2. 10 Cloverfield lane has a played out premise. The people being stuck in a basement with a psycho during an apocalyptic situation has been done to death.

I was a sucker for found footage before I OD'd on it and I think the first one was a fine movie for what it was. Lane was excellent, Paradox was passableespecially because of Debicki.

>Netflix is the new "direct to VHS/DVD
This is so wrong it hurts.
Netflix is the new middle budget film home now that studios refuse to make films that aren't blockbusters.
These films used to thrive 15 years ago in cinemas

Congratulations on having shitty taste

>LOL we never saw it but Bright is a turd!
>I mean look at RT score!

They are getting worse and worse.

Name me three other movies. 1. To prove me wrong. 2. Because I want to see them, because that's a kino setting and you can go fuck yourself.

>well I guess we found where the worms went

Mike didn't see it because he literally had no interest and generally doesn't go for Netflix movie/shows. Jay saw it and thought it was shit because he hates that type of film anyways

he didn't need to say that, it was so reddit holy shit
