Fucking this. Destiny had an awesome run. Great ship design. ALIENS THAT DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH. Drama. Robert Carlyle. It was the closest series to the original movie.

Given the sheer amount of props that movie studios produce, it's common to just get rid of them to save storage space.

Look, i get it. We wanted a huge budget, and so on. But, remember this show don't have a large fanbase. Chris Judge said that depending on the support they will likely give much more stuff. The future is in our hands. I honestly think it looks interesting, we'll see how they'll fix the breaking canon part. But i think it has potential. I am pretty sure Judge would return if there were to be a Jaffa story.

It really sucks stargate is how it is now, but it is what we have. I love the franchise dearest, so i am desperate for it to get more.

SG-1 had no Atlantis-like quip barrages until the introduction of quiptastic characters such as Valla.

The series premiered on Showtime and almost immediately moved to SyFy. When it was a Showtime property the expectation was that it would retain a R rating but Showtime basically said "we don't want this" and SyFy snapped it up. Also, Michael Shanks tapped that ass. He was the biggest pussy hound of the cast, eclipsing Judge.

It really speaks to something when stargate is one of the only shows Sup Forums can agree and comfy post about being good. There are very few other shows or movies that get such an honor. I just really, really hope down the line we will get some really good stargate again.
