rule34 when

>Let's not get derailed please.
Wait what the fuck happened?

What will he look like in the show?

I whole bunch of completely unrelated punching nazis talk without the mods doing anything.

Why can Disney and Nickelodeon do reboots well, but Cartoon Network can't?

Christina Miller.

Is she, dare I say it, worse than Snyder?

CN only wants to reboot for TTG profit

Calling it here and now. Ma Beagle is Blackheart Beagle, Magica is NOT Della and the arc's main villain is something unforeseen in the original DuckTales (but perhaps not the comics).

>Shipping

Goddammit, I should have known this was going to happen. Now it's only a matter of time before people start screaming for pictures of the triplet's feet or yelling at each other of dumb fandom wars. It's not even fucking September yet.

>Goddammit, I should have known this was going to happen
You really should've. At least it can't get as bad as a cult being formed.

It's a shame you can't ever bring up Rescue Rangers without that cult getting mentioned.

>Video not available in your country
I hate being a Britbong.

>It's a shame you can't ever bring up Rescue Rangers without that cult getting mentioned.
Wat

Getting real sick of that shit, too. Even a fucking article on CartoonBrew about punching nazis, Christ.

Wait, what cult?

CartoonBrew is a blog posing as a news site, don't go there.

...

It's unfortunately one of the more consistent sites in terms of getting actual news out. Which goes to show how fucking sad the state of the animation community is.

And even then, getting news from Sup Forums is way faster and more reliable than CartoonBrew and even beats it at that point, too.

As many times as I see this picture, I just...can't process it.

>when you cant understand a damn word donald says
Seriously, is there a transcript? Please tell me there's a transcript...

I thought it was just because english isn't my native language, do english speakers have the same issue then?

while Snyder tried to introduce CN Real, at least the schedule had more variety. Miller is pretty much the reason TTG has infested the channel as a whole.

It'll be interesting to see how they pull off the four way billionaire battle. As I recall, rockerduck was generally portrayed as making more than scrooge but spending so much he harmed his own profits. However the show isn't pushing scrooge entirely into the 'ultra cheap' niche (indeed glomgold might take that role) so maybe scrooge will be the winning middle ground on spending vs profits.
Where does that leave beaks in ideology?

Yes.
It's not the worst he's been, but I still need to listen to several parts twice to catch exactly what he said.

>check 'em

I can make out a good half of his dialogue, which is usually enough to piece together what he's trying to say.

Me too but that's more to do with our police state and its stance on certain drawn pornography.

Just use a proxy or download it old chap.

I talked with dana on tumblr and she talked about the show's directors:
initially it was her, Aoshima, and Tom Owens. Tanner Jonson is the guy who replaces her, while Tom gets replaced by Matthew Humphreys

ok

Oh thank god, it's not just me. I managed to get maybe 1/4 of what he said at best.

/duck/ board when?

I hope soon, I want more content of the triplets

Donald" "Spitspitspit im not spitspit"
Dewey: "Of course, Uncle Donald!"

Pretty much, yeah. I need to watch it again. I still have no idea what they were talking about in the treasure room and I think it was important.

Donald: *incomprehensible spitting*
Scrooge: "You know that wasn't my fault!"

I really hope that at least once they have a gag with some character who really cannot understand what he's saying, as payback for making us go through it

I love Ducktales 2017! It's got all the characters I remember from my childhood: Dippy, Dippy, and Dippy; Webbimabel; Grunkle Scrooge; and who can forget Launchpad Jesus?

>Where does that leave beaks in ideology?
I'm thinking smug megalomaniac who presents a friendly face to (and is loved by) the public but is actually a power crazed loon (pun semi-intended) who doesn't really care about anything beyond his own ambitions. A bit like a more kid-friendly Smiler from Transmetropolitan, one who also happens to be very rich but whose goal isn't really money, it's power and the money is a means to that end.

I can see him just sitting back at his computer watching his bank balance increase and cover the costs of money he's just spent on a scheme in a matter of seconds. Scrooge will hate him because he's young but isn't doing any work for his money any more.

Beaks is the fame-seeker. He's ultra rich but to him it's about the attention. I believe Angones stated as much.

Also, I tried my hand at drawing Della, haven't fully cleaned it up. also the first Duck I've drawn a full body pic of.

So a Ducktales version of this guy?

I wish they just gave up on Donald's duck voice desu.

I've always pictured him with a normal voice when reading the comics. The current cartoonish voice is just weird, if they're going for more dialogue-heavy stuff.

Webby was not as obnoxious as I was a little worried she'd be. Her awkward loneliness and joy at meeting some kids her own age was kind of adorable.

Donald: (spitting intensifies)
Scrooge: I'm sorry, could you say that again laddie?
>Fucking airplane is about to crash into the treasure room.

Maybe here he got it from an injury while adventuring

Donalds backstory
>he smoked too goddamn much

I fucking love Scrooge I unironically want to pound that duck ass

I'm glad that Scrooge worked in the full episode. When they released that preview a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't help but think that Scrooge sounded like someone doing a terribly fake Scottish accent. Which is bizarre because I know the guy voicing him is actually Scottish.

duck is for fuck

Weird thing is that I understand him better here than I have in years. Maybe it's finally making sense.

>ywn get a chance to finger her cloaca and ruffle her feathers inbetween missions

why even live?

It's a war injury. He's a Navy vet.

But Webby is a loud Dipper

At least she's getting porn. Speaking of which, source?

There are subs in the mega file.

I think it's kind of clever the waythey handle Donald's voice. Usuallywhen he says something important, they have someone else repeat what he said in their reply.

>Donald: This is just like the Spear of Selene!
>Scrooge: The Spear of Selene was not my fault!

They could have easily just had Scrooge say "that" wasn't his fault, but he repeated the Spear of Selene bit too.

Current? Its the style of voice he's had for 80 years. Donald has always sounded like this.

Okay. I had no idea that Scrooge was repeating that. I thought the Spear thing was unique to his reply.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the original Ducktales cartoon start an animation renaissance?

Yes. A lot of cartoons at the time were super cheap and/or used to sell toys. Disnye made DuckTales with the intent of making a show for a show's sake, to make money in syndication, and poured a whole bunch of money into making it. It paid off and not only launched the Disney Afternoon, I'd wager things like Animaniacs wouldn't exist without it either.

It's because he's always angry. youtube.com/watch?v=p7O22GuSc58

So, how many easter eggs were in the first episode? I caught a few in the first bit. There was the head from the robots that the Beagle Bros. piloted which could be seen in the original intro, the vultures talking about business prospects in St. Canard, and the genie lamp from the Ducktales movie.

I don't know about in general, but it certainly kickstarted a golden age of Disney TV shows.

If this really does lead to things like new Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin I will be very, very happy. Not that I'm not already happy with new DuckTales.

So, I'm gonna go for it and watch this. Y'all seem to genuinely like it so I trust it to be good.

But I'll be 100%, I fucking don't remember shit about Duck Tales. I watched it as a kid obsessively, but all that shit is gone. I don't even know what sort of stuff they did or what was funny.

Should I go back and rewatch it first?

No, there's really no need. It's a reboot rather than a continuation.

They're doing a pretty different thing character-wise than the old DuckTales show so I wouldn't worry about it. Nephews have individual personalities, Webby and Beakley are completely revamped, Donald's actually present.

The blue one talked about taking Donald's boat to Cape Suzette, which was the main setting of Tale Spin.

I'd recommend trying to watch the original Ducktales just because it was a fantastic show. But no, it's not required for the reboot.

The fact the guy from Ommiverse is involved worries me, but the other two are okay. Then again if Francisco Angones and Dana Terrace leave the show or are sidelined we are gonna see season root quite fast.

Some may complain robotduck superman isn't around, but I salways felt that superhero stories kinda ruined the wholew thing, unless they were taken as pure comedy of the kind the Disney cartoons usually don't unless is the Donald or Goofy shorts.

To make an example one of the earliest comics that has Scrooge McDuck try to be a superhero only has him do so to save money and is hilarious.

Superhero antics are better served in another show. Heck even having just Mickey, Donald and Goofy fight super-villains would work.

Sadly the Mad Doc is considered too scary for TV while Darkwing Duck villains somehow aren't.

Okay, cool. I always liked Donald Duck.

I guess it held up pretty well?

Matt Youngbert was also a director on Teen Titans, The Batman, and Ben 10 UA while being supervising director on Transformers Animated
Dana *is* leaving (she'll be replaced by Tanner Johnson, who was a storyboard artist on Omniverse as well as on various episodes of this show prior to Dana leaving), but this is a script driven show so directors are more relevant to the cinematography and directing the storyboard artists rather than being involved in the final script

That was Gummy Bears.
But Ducktales cemented it for Disney.

Nick was already on its own renaissance with its first animated shows in the works.

Cartoon Network was still running reruns of old shows they had the rights to and hadn't made anything new yet.

e621.net/post/show/1302708/avian-beak-bird-breasts-cephalopod-cloud-day-duckt

>I guess it held up pretty well?
In my opinion it holds up extremely well.

>3 pics already
Nice.

>Still no Della porn
Purest girl

it's pretty insignificant but I like the call back to all the other Disney Afternoon locations like St. Canard and Cape Suzette. Not that I expect to see Higher For Hire but it's still nice
though I wouldn't mind seeing Higher for Hire be the show's UPS, HFH

If they do show up, I hope it isn't Baloo. I'd want to hold out hope for the idea of this spawning a Talespin reboot, and I'd still like that set in a vague 1930's.

...

Is there incest of the wolf bros?

Let's face it. She's anthropomorphic enough to have a vag

Non-Americans know Donald as a comic book character first and foremost, and he has never been implied to have a duck voice in comics.

But surely they've heard Donald Duck at some point. He's been in hundreds of cartoons. Christ almighty, they've at least seen Who Framed Roger Rabbit, right?

eurofag here. mickey mouse related cartoon media is scarce as hell 'round these parts, and im certain that even if it exists it gets dubbed. I got used to Donald's voice over time but its still obnoxious as hell

In the original, Launchpad can't understand what he's saying when they first interact.

Wow. I guess that's hard to comprehend as an American. I've been hearing Donald's voice since I was born. It's just part of the fabric of American culture. They made parody disco songs in the 70's featuring Donald's voice. It's honestly hard to wrap my mind around it not working like that for everyone else.

Well the shipping has begun...

Did we settle which of the triplets is gay? Huey or Dewy?

...

Donald on E?

>That hair

CHADD

...

I'm betting Huey he's seems like the type...

>Humanization

REEEEEEEEEEE

I'd say I wanted to avoid this but honestly I just saw it coming

Still vomiting though

Cartoon Network didn't even exist yet, actually.

And Nickelodeon was mostly showing shows from syndication or shows from other countries at the time.

Who is the faggot that drew this blasphemous bullshit!?

Swedes are pretty used to his swedish voice, but I'd say that swedish Donald is a slight bit clearer.

youtube.com/watch?v=LVskqJLtoq4&t=1s

Darkwing Duck reboot when?

Except for the fact that he's speaking Swedish, of course.

that's cool but rule34 when
