they cost a lot more to produce so you'd have to charge at least twice as much. And it makes no sense for a 26 page book, they will just take up so much space. I think some people in this thread are silly for buying hardcovers for 50 page books. But I think 50 pages is the minimum for a hardcover. I may be wrong but I think I heard there is a minimum page count for hardcovers for the binding to work properly

The SS hardcovers are in release order. I don't know about the trades but supposedly they're the same material just in 2 trades and not hardcovers.
My Favorite Thing is Monsters is a huge indie critical darling. It's about a young girl solving a murder mystery in 1960s chicago and she's obsessed with monsters and draws them all over her diary. It's supposed to be amazing (haven't read it yet) but if you wanted something for actual monsters I'd recommend Manifest Destiny and Kaijumax

This is part new purchase, part crafts I guess. A while back I realized that I need a new separate box just for my Lady Death singles, so I figured I might as well decorate the box a bit for one of my favourite characters ever.
I scanned in one of the covers, isolated the logo, rearranged it a bit, printed it out, cut out the stencil, traced it on the lid lightly in pencil. I just added the marker today and I'm debating whether or not to fill in the lettering with black or not. What do you think?

Working through my backlog currently. Just finished the first Lackadaisy book, and now I can't decide what print to buy when I get the second book. I like the notes in the back even if most of them were a little obvious and unneeded if you're even the slightest bit familiar with history. I'm also trying very hard to control my autism here, but I'm a bit triggered that there was no mention that the weaver stance that Freckle used was actually invented in the '50s when she did mention the duesenberg

I personally really liked it. I mean when ya think about it Covenant is the 6th/8th entry to a major horror movie franchise. It's a miracle it's watchable (unlike Freddy's Dead or Curse of Micheal Myers etc.)

There is a middle ground you know... I've got my floppies in boxes, because organization is good, but they're accessible to flip through to find what you need.
I never fill them all the way up you need room to flip through and browse. Also on deep shelving they're easy to just slide in on the bottom shelf all tucked in.

Did you learn anything new you didn't already know from Understanding Comics? It sounds like such a poitless endeavour. Started reading it in my library once but there was nothing I didn't know already in it.
I learned a couple things but the main advantage I found was it formulated my thoughts on the medium better. It's well worth the read and a fairly short read anyway.
Or I could...I dunno...arrange my comics on the shelf where I like them to be because they look great there and I can easily access them?
