Sup Forums do any of you out there have recommendation lists for silver/golden/bronze ages of comic books? I want to read through the history of the medium.

Bumping with rec charts, Marvel first

Fantastic Four is good and basically invents every fun trope for comics in that era.
Silver Surfer is fucking great.
Early Spider-Man kinda varies, some great issues and lots of mediocrity but it had much more continuity than most cape comics. If you ever wanna read 100 issues in sequence then Spidey 1-100 is a good choice.
Iron Man is pretty meh, I guess it's readable.

Nothing from DC stands up well from the silver age IMO.

Any specifics? should I start from issue 1 onward for all of these, or can I find specific arcs? any omnibuses?

Last I have of Marvel, onto DC now

>GOLDEN AGE
Disney shit, especially Donald Duck

>POST-GOLDEN / PRE-SILVER

>SILVER AGE

Silver Surfer
Uncle Scrooge

>BRONZE AGE
Conan
Man-Thing
Howard the Duck
DC's Tarzan adaptation(s)
