Can this movie ever be topped?
Can this movie ever be topped?
No
well that was easy.
The VVitch II
I'm genuinely interested in the director's next movie. For a directorial debut it's really impressive.
It's definitely one of the better movies to come out recently, but it's not the greatest thing ever.
Came here to post this... So good.
superior WitchKino coming through
The VVVitch
No, shit was amazing. Unironically Kino
He's doing a Nosferatu remake
I know it's not objectively the greatest movie ever, but I think it's my personal favourite. Just really appealed to me. Anyway, I heard Eggers was going to do a remake of Nosferatu, and also that he was going to make a non-horror movie about a knight. Is he going to go for the Nosferatu one? That's quite ambitious, hope he doesn't fuck up.
Another of my favourites.
This one is on my watchlist.
VVitches
i hated this film
dude shots of the forest with a shitty filter and scary music lmao
dude religious people lol
dude fuck your sister haha
we kill babies in this movie, so edgy lol
season of the witch was far better
Best horror movie of the decade, great atmosphere and a cute lead
What got me wasn't the witch. It was the girl. She s totally isolated from the world. The only people she knows and loves slowly turn against her. To me that was terrifying.
Which is why she turns to the devil in the end as well. I can't believe the fucking brainlets that thought this was a "feminist" movie. Yes, those people actually exist.
>I know it's not objectively the greatest movie ever, but I think it's my personal favourite.
Then I take back my objection.
I though the Nosferatu thing was happening.
>Vvitches turn you baby sibling into flying goo
>vVitches kill all your famalam and condem them to hell
>lol I better become a vvitch too because idk lol randum
It was really the molding corn that they kept showing that fucked them up, but the normie surface story was retarded
Not really. I liked that the witch wasn't really more than an inciting incident. The family implodes because of the father's pride.
>dude I noticed a detail from the film
>dude i called it shitty
>dude here's another thing that happened in the movie
>dude in fact here a whole list of things that happened in the movie
>dude because I noticed these things, that in itself is bad. the fact that my retard brain was able to observe plot points and stylistic choices means that those plot points and stylistic choices are bad. because I noticed them
really detailed analysis and thoughtful commentary lol... NOT
t. brainlet who cant into atmospheric horror
the movie was very faithful to the 19th century depiction of witchcraft and witches
alot of the scenes in this movie takes place outdoors, but its so catastrophic feeling
like a vice that slowly closes in on the viewer and the characters' sanity
claustrophobic***
