The day Sup Forums was BTFO

...

They're just friends going on vacation together! The fact that the producers had to explicitly tell me that they're gay proves that I'm not in denial! Mako and Doctor Wu are the ones who are really gay, why don't you sickos ever talk about THAT?

>THIS HURTS YOU
Not really. It was a dogwhistle to you SJW types to defend a shitty show.

If anything it cheapened the whole idea of having gay characters in a show to begin with by turning them into shields for two hack writers.

absolutely buttblasted

Too many layers of irony for me to understand this post.

I always loved Legend of Korra and I shipped Korrasami after Amorra became fucking impossible.

Not really. I don't think anyone gives a fuck about the fact Korra is gay and or bisexual. People were pissed because there was zero buildup or reasoning as to why they decide to end their magic kung fu show on that note.

This relationship is actually anti-progressive. Yeah they're gay but only though an implication at the very last second of a show that wasn't up for renewal anymore. They took zero risk because they were too afraid to portray their homosexual relationship like any other. There was a hundred times more development between Boulin and Opal, a heterosexual couple introduced halfway through the last season. Korra and Asami had known each other since season 1. The ending was just embarrassing.

Meh.

This is kinda true.

So is this.

Completely agree; Imagine you believe in buildup and characterization and trust for creators to deliver a satisfying, well thought out conclusion that won't spoil misspent the accumulated potential. But then they just decide to bail on that and go for an asspull that ignores all thematical groundwork but guarantees attention

Boy, the sheer buttblastery amirite

Who cares? The Avatar franchise is dead outside of comics no one reads, and LoK is responsible for its downfall. Bryke creating this series did more damage to the franchise than M .Night ever could.

When I first saw the first season, I thought to myself that Bryke couldn't make it worse if they deliberately tried. I was actually sad to see it only run for one season, as Bryke initially assumed.

Now looking back it, I almost wish Bryke weren't offered more seasons, because I was wrong. Ending it early may have disappointed me, but season four forced me to realize that I no longer cared about it.

The problem was how it was completely out of nowhere. If it had been built up throughout the series it would have been fine. As it stands it just seems to be something to pander to the people who drew all the lesbian fan art on tumblr, so they would ignore how rushed and badly written it was.

>implying I gave a fuck about that shit show anymore besides the lesbo porn, which the finale just gave me so much more.

Nobody watched this shit-show past season 2

We came for high flying martial arts and wuxia action

We left having seen a train wreck that the creators refused to accept was an abortion and instead pandered to the bullqueeros of Tumblr at literally the last second

Korrasami is meme magic. It was a desperate move from 2 hacks to cover their asses but it was hyped so much that unexpectedely it became the bar for western animation and nowadays everyone want to put lesbo shit on cartoons because LoK did it so why we can't? Not including the yuri fandoms became even more obnoxious than usual because they believe their shitposting can actually change the course of a show, see the Supercorp fiasco on Comic-con

Stop. Stop making those threads, nobody cares about it, the only reason people are so butthurt is because trolls like you keep posting this ad nauseam so people are understandably tired of it. Stop making threads with the only goal of pissing people off. You are the one who can't get over an old cartoon and feels the need to shove it in peoples faces at all times, the same applies to every copypasted thread trying to bait people with the same few cartoon memes. Nobody fucking cares about them and nobody fucking cares about you, and getting people to reply to your sad little thread won't change it.

Well to be fair, that comic would hurt anyone who actually cares about getting a fun story, instead of the history of homosex in Avatarverse.

But I'm more "meh" than upset.

nice mad

> Never see Korra.
I'm inmune of this shit?

Tell me can you really defend the first issue of the new comic as good if you don't care about homosexuality either way? Is that really what should of been expected of a issue years after the series was done?
