The RNC got in trouble in the 80s for voter intimidation. They weren't allowed to be near voting locations until December 1st 2017. A violation of that automatically extends it until 2025. But they were so close, and they desperately wanted this off their backs.
At least, until Trump. Trump has been telling people so many times to go patrol their voting locations, go look at people, check for fraud, and other questionable language that implicates that he wants them to intimidate voters. He did this so many times, and there's been reports of people actually showing up and doing it, so now the DNC has sued the RNC.
How the fuck could Trump be this stupid? Did you know that his brother-in-law is who lost this case for the RNC back in the 80s in the first place? There's no way Trump didn't know about it. It's like he WANTED the RNC to take this hit. Just like how he's been tanking his campaign consistently.
