What happened to Oglaf? The art went from ok-good to bad and samey.
Also it completely dropped the story and focused on doing only random strips. There are recurring characters and some linked strips, but the main story was dropped years ago. Why?

And I find very strange that this guy has gone through a reverse webcomic evolution. A lot of webcomics start dy doing random strips and then start to develop a story. But this one started to develop a story from the beginning only to end up doing random strips.

The quality of the art is exactly the same. The real difference is the coloring, one which warm and bright and the other being cool and dark.

Oglaf has always been 75% gay porn.
Without double checking, there are now more strips without ivan than there are with, which was sad for me for a long time cause i liked the character. Since his "death," there have been many wonderful characters such as the compotent assasin, the quirky vampire chick, and the metaphors sagas. I think oglaf was feeling trapped with having to write a consistent story and forsook it in lieu of character generation.
Ive always enjoyed the artstyle though.
Trudy Cooper was the creator of oglaf, she did the art and writing for years, Doug inputs in the proyect are fairly new
