And more words from Evanier.

This was pretty decent, gotta say I like Orion and other Sandman a bit more though.

Next Week:
DARKSEID!

See you then,

bump

Sandman and Orion were my favorites so far.

YES

this is what the king deserves

I fucking love these. Cant wait fmto finally get a hold of some Kirby Etrigan too!

So what's up with Manhunter and why does he look like Manhunter drones?

I figure they reused his design when they decided, like Kirby apparently, that the name was too good to let go of.

Kirby's Etrigan is mighty fun stuff. Wish I had gotten the last printing.

>Sandman and Orion were my favorites so far.
Definitely. One had great ideas and the other...was just a well done character one-shot.

Nice

Great stuff, thanks Dave. All the energy of Kirby and the wry humour of Giffen

Poor, poor, Sandy though haha

they're reprinting it again

Bump

>I've got a better idea. You put your kid to bed and we go grab a beer.
Is- is Manhunter hitting on Sandman here?

Bump

Fuck, there wasn't rhyme to that, but that was really good.
The paneling was fantastic.

DC keeps bringing out the best in Humphries.

Kirby Etrigan didn't rhyme, but he was also Jason Blood so I guess it just did whatever it wanted.

Yes

Giving him semi-robotic clones in Beware the Batman did not help the comparisons.

this deserves more love

Can someone storytime the Sandman one?

Nice meme, Rude was awesome, Humphries' words sucked.

It's a decent one and done story that could have easily leapt off from the Silver Age. I don't see what you mean, both of the stories in this book were.

Sure.

groovy, very Kirby.

VERY Kirby

This one has proved a crowd pleaser haha.

I have a head-canon that maybe he ran into an old, destroyed Manhunter Drone in the jungle was in and thought it looked pretty cool and modelled himself off it. Or there was some legend of it locally.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I haven't appreciated this version of Sandman. I like the pulp one and Gaiman's too.

I storytimed it at the start of summer and had a lot of fun with it. The back up story is genius.

The clone thing was from the comics as well. I think that episode was an adaptation of the same story.
