Iron Fist

How do you feel about Iron Fist being the new protector of Hells Kitchen Sup Forums?

Iron Fist is my favorite Marvel hero, I hope season 2 is a bit stronger, I feel like it could be with the director change.

TV has a different director for each episode or pair of episodes.
It's got a new head writer / producer, Raven Metzner, replacing Scott Buck. Unfortunately he's done Sleepy Hollow and Falling Skies in the past, which are much, much better than Dexter S6-8, they're still far from being actually good.

Put a fucking mask on, holy shit.

I agree

fucking this.

They're fucked

I feel like I'm getting real.. real fucking tired of this no costume meme.

Luke Cage is the only character of the three remaining defenders whose lack of a suit makes sense, and oddly enough, he's the only person who wears his comic appearance.

>How do you feel about a spastic retard being the new protector of Hells Kitchen Sup Forums?

Comedy gold

>cyka blyat

WHERE THE COSTUME YOU CUNT

Where's Frank?

Well, at least the track suit is a step in the right direction.

I've not actually seen that close up. Actually looks cool.

How do you feel about never reading comics?

I don't think Jessica Jones should wear her comic costume.

Jessica Jones doesn't even wear her comic costume IN the comics. BUT, she wore it in her backstory, where she was younger, more naive, and enthusiastic about the hero thing.

TV's Jessica was disdainful of the costume even back before the Kilgrave shit.

Matt basically just told him to XP grind on the map for a few more levels because Danny was a fucking scrub and beating him was too easy.

of course she wore her original costume
she was the human sandwich in the comics, right?

>the protector of a 4 block neighborhood of mostly gay couples
I guess he'll do fine

It's not the same as our New York, the "Incident" saw to that. Confirmed by Jessica Jones saying the rent was cheap in Manhattan.

Doing an Iron Fist show should literally be the easiest thing to accomplish. I mean, it's a revenge plot with Kung-Fu action; something we've seen thousands of times before. But for some odd reason, they just can't really get it. I just don't know why. The choreography, action, and stunts were lousy, the whole plot involving Ward/His Dad/His Sister was fucking terrible.

>Danny's whole character is "muh immortal defender of K'un Lun"
>never wears the fucking uniform of said position

That came across as a sarcastic remark imo

Everything she says comes across as a sarcastic remark. Probably accurately so.

A joke sure, but it seemed like the premise of the joke is about how the real world Hell's Kitchen is upscale and fruity. I'm just saying there's a valid reason it's a different situation in the MCU.

Oh, you mean Jessica was being sarcastic. I read that more as gallows humor.

is New York really such a shithole that it needs a superhero for every other block?

If it keeps getting targeted by any and every super-threat, I'd say so.

Why would a TV Reality show about a hostile work environment need protecting? Is he a lawyer or something?

Wait, is Hell's Kitchen really only four blocks?

its' funny because it's an affluent gay neighborhood

Danny left it in the wash

now he has to wait 15 years to get it back.

IMO, that's enough territory for a single vigilante with low-level powers to have his hands full with patrolling, assuming the crime is higher than in the real world.

I wonder how mad the people of Hell's Kitchen are that Spiderman never comes to help out once in awhile

A new director and a new lead actor that actually knows some martial arts. Just because his name is "Iron Fist" doesn't mean he should literally do nothing but throw punches

lets take a look at the census

538 acres, so thats 0.84 square miles or 2.18 km
population 45,884

racial make up
• White 56.4%
• Asian or Pacific Islander 15.0%
• Hispanic 19.3%
• Black 6.3%
• Other 3.0%

But how can he protect them from AIDS?

>when you find out rand enterprises manufactures prep

How can Danny even patrol effectively without Red Batman's super hearing or Punisher's police radio. He doesn't even know how to parkour.

He's basically just limited to waiting for sirens and taking taxis.

isn't he Bruce Wayne with powers?

He's rich.

>I hope season 2 is a bit stronger

just a bit? a teensy wee bit? because season 1 was a fucking steaming pile. by the end of it i fucking danny rand and only stuck around because i had grown invested in his childhood frenemies development arc (not that that made it worth watching in the first place though)

Doesn't he know what happened to the last city he was sworn to protect?

>i fucking *HATED* danny rand

Bruce Wayne isn't a fucking complete utter idiot, like Danny Rand. He's like the Anti-Wayne.

Danny killed the Hand, Batman still didn't kill the Joker. Batman's the real idiot here.

>Danny bitched and flailed around randomly, almost dooming the entire city with his stupidity, while real actual adults did his job for him
Fixed that for you.
