The red pill represents the acceptance of absolute truth. For truth to exist axioms must exist to allow both our universe to be able to generate reality, and its derivative truth, and for us to be perceive this truth. 'Something' allows/allowed these axioms to be in place.

Although this 'something' probably isn't a white man in the sky with a beard, it has to exist for there to be objective truth. The rejection of this objectivity, and the acceptance of only subjective 'truth', is the fundamental blue pill.

To ask us to pick between the total acceptance of truth and its origin, God, and the "red pill" is a false dichotomy.
