Mate, I work on this shit all day, why bring it here?

I use Pot of Greed

Post some of these CN cards, plz

How does that card work again?

>suppressed memories of trying to create a Fortune Lady deck just resurfaced
>from booster packs
>Every other archetype got a base deck, or was common as the initial aliens, but NOOOOOO, cards with a time based gimmick aren't allowed to be easy to collect

Fucking why OP.

Sure? I mean it's for a deck building board game.

They're large files, and part of some other card sheets I was working with.

>Amethyst
>Garnet
>female
THEY'RE SEXLESS ENTITIES YOU CHEETO NAZI

So, what do the numbers mean? Why Gumball has a 5 and Nicole just 1?

I believe it's called Smug Ass Pot.

People love to gamble, so they love getting fucked in the ass by the booster system. Card games with boosters always get more traction than living card games.

It's how much power is required to purchase it.

Draw two cards from your deck.

That's it.

You're not funny.

>When your game is so poorly designed that a card that lets you draw two cards needs to be heavily monitored and even banned

>purchase it.
How so? Give us a quick run on this game

tough day?

Anyone who's ever played MtG could tell you that free card draw is ALWAYS busted.

Shit the biggest problem in Yugioh especially early on is that everything is free except more powerful monsters. Which is why half the fucking spells the game launched with are banned or restricted.

This is the case in all games.Free card advantage and it essentially thins your deck. Every deck would play it. Magic banned fucking treasure cruise because it was so free.

>yfw you realize there's a story about Pot of Greed that spans all the different Greed cards

>implying its not the case for all card games
Freely being able to draw from your deck with no cost or compensation is busted as fuck. You could run 3 of those fuckers too.

Especially when you don't even have to play other cards to win.

Now, assuming this game is like other cerebus engine games, it works as follows:

-Each player starts with a deck of X cards, with each of those cards either doing nothing (literal nothing), or producing a point of power when played.

-There are other cards in the middle of the board that the players can purchase by using those points of power.

-When you buy those cards, you put them into your discard pile, along with the hand of cards you had to buy it.

-When your deck is empty, shuffle up your discard pile and repeat.

-This goes on until [GAME OBJECTIVE OBTAINED].

-As the game goes on,, you can also remove older cards from your deck (such as those starting cards).

You should see the original Pokemon sets. Anyone who knew what they were doing could easily draw all 60 cards (44 after prizes and the opening draw) in one turn by chaining Trainer cards together. As long as you didn't get fucked over on the first turn, you could consistently have a Blastoise and 3 fully-powered Gyarados ready to go on turn 2.

And that wasn't even the best deck in the format.

Pokemon is still the same, you will have your trump card fully powered and ready to finger rape your opponent on turn 2.

Didn't really play when the Pokemon TCG first started but was Charizard as busted as it seems to have been?

"Popular" doesn't always imply "good", if Blue-Eyes is any indication.

No. It was shit because there was a card called Energy Removal (and Super Energy Removal) in the format that completely broke the game. Any card that took more than two energy would be relentlessly bombarded by them, making it impossible to attack. The only ways to deal with it were to either play Pokemon with cheap attacks, use a card like Blastoise that could let you attach more energy than your opponent could remove, play a stall deck and slowly run your opponent out of them, or run a deck that shuts down trainer cards. Any other deck was pretty helpless.

Sound weird

So Blastoise was the cancer of Gen 1 after all.
Blue Eyes is at least somewhat decent now

>implying Yugion isn't like that

It's easy to play, and easy to each.

Games generally last 45-60 minutes, game is okay, but you're mostly doing it to hang out with your friends with something to focus on.

DC versions of the game are a bit more serious/competitive, and they have a bunch of other different brands to fuck around with.

No no, THIS was the cancer. Hitmonchan and his other 70HP, low-cost basic friends: Electabuzz, Scyther, Promo Mewtwo, Fossil Magmar, and sometimes Lapras (80 HP).

And that's before the Gym sets introduced the sheer, unadultrated cancer that was Rocket's Zapdos.

>Female gem villain
>female gem
But all the gems are female

What are the costs to playing these cards?

Autism

Your soul

...

They're listed as Female to allow Johnny Bravo cards to have more interactions.

You have to buy the cards from a randomized line up of 5 cards, during your turn, the the set amount of power (bottom right). You might miss out on some of the gems if other players buy them before your turn.

How is that worse than this broken ass shit they have now?

>Let me turn 1 draw exodia before you have a chance to play
>gg no re fagmo

What is the difference between a "hero" card and a "character" card? Do they work as monsters or something?

Each player starts with a character card, they have some big ongoing effects that try to get you to focus on a play style.

Hero cards are just one of the types of cards you can buy or gain during a game.

Actually, just watch this if you really want to know how to play / basic run down.

Applies to most of their games, though they may change up some of the rules or add extra things to make them stand out.

sounds kinda like Dominion

Letting you spend one resource for two card is broken. It's a +1 advantage. It would be busted as fuck if it was left in the meta. Every deck would be a 36 card deck if they were unlimited. Stop pretending you know how card games work.
