It's seems to be an america thing, because that's how it works from the USA to Argentina. Luckily, here in panama private schools are fucking cheap, so many parents do sent their kids to private school, as opposed to america where private schools cost more than college.

whats an average bus/train(if you still have them) fare in the US? probably a fucking lot considering how much of a clusterfuck costs for things are there

closest school in the neighbourhood i live in is about 5 min walk
the second closest school would be about a 15min bus/skytrain ride on a good day (6 min on bus 9 on train) which is $2.75 for a regular fare however transfer from bus to bus or bus to train is free for 90min so thats $2.75 for the whole trip student fare is $1.75
from experience when i was in school (i was living elsewhere and it was further away) it was about 40$ per month. not bad but not something a nigger on welfare can easily afford
(before you scoff at the transit prices consider 1. canada meme dollars 2. 40$ is basically a weeks gas if you have a decently fuel efficient car and gas here is pretty fucking cheap compared to most of the country (yes im looking at you ontario and your dollar25 per fcuking litre)
