No it's just a bad movie. there are thousands of them

Flawed as hell but really damn good. Like an indie RPG or a first novel. Armchair critics are generally way too quick to be hard on something that accomplishes something without pulling it off perfectly. Bright was nowhere near perfect, but it seemed less concerned with being a masterpiece and more concerned with doing something a little differently.

I'll take it over perfectly executed monotony any day.

It's not the worst movie ever made but I just found it to be incredibly boring. The wand plotline just wasn't fleshed out enough to be compelling. It should have been about the organized crime elements instead of just being another end of the world plot.

All in all it just made me want a proper Shadowrun movie.
