GOT is passable source material handles by idiots. This is abysmal source material handled by a competent director. Raimi has made plenty of good stuff but he'll probably need to totally gut and reshape this soy-encrusted car crash of a story if he's going to make it watchable.

Nah, I don't buy it. Oathbringer put a definite stop to any sort of love triangle between the three, and put Shallan right in best boy Adolin's camp. I also don't see him dying anytime soon. Book 4 will see him somehow reviving the spren of his blade and finally become radiant. He's starting to become pretty useless without any surges, though Kaladin still manages to do worse somehow.
