So how will they handle a villain that hasn't show his face to the heroes or even a mention of his power/presence?
Do you think the movie will do the comics good

From the leaks it sounds like a rushed shitfest in which the Avengers are mostly split between three places for the 1st half then hurriedly grouped up in the 3rd act. It's one set piece after another
>Do you think the movie will do the comics good
In the comic books Thanos trips and drops the stones. The end. Seriously. Someone post the comic. Please.
It will be another MCU garbage. It will reach 2 billion mark.
Does anyone actually care about Thanos? They've been teasing him since the current generation of soldiers were 8 years old. He's just a purple guy who sits alone on an asteroid and he has some gay ass gold glove and that's it as far as I can tell. Why would anyone care about that? There's no way this dumb purple space ape lives up to the hype. He hasn't done anything in a decade.
...
Better question, how will they handle his quips?
I feel like they know this and are going to go for the "twist" of beating Thanos in Infinity War 1 and having a separate villain for the second part.
>inb4 it's death herself
>Deth will be villain in part 2
you know those 'leaks' are only fanfics right?
he'll get his shit kicked in offscreen by /ourgirl/ doreen
>Do you think the movie will do the comics good
The best part of the comic was how he acquired the gems from each holder. Since its different in the MCU, the movie has no chance of being good.
How is Thanos a threat against Dr Strange, couldn't Strange just zap him into a different dimension/lock him up? Like what is Stranger power level vs Thanos?
Funny you say that because Starlord and Nova did beat Thanos by trapping him in an alternate universe. Was kind of a dick move though because he had helped them fight off that universes invaders.
This further adds to the fact that the trailer we are seeing is actually for part 2 and part 1 will be Thanos Quest
Had hope a while back but after I saw how poorly they treated Ultron, very little left. Thanos is going to be made out to be strong than be beat by some ex-machina shit because can't have the villain win for once.
>"and get this man shield"
does he really have to nigger up the consonants that much?
Thanos' characterisation is going to make or break this movie.
Avengers held together as well as it did with an ensemble cast because Loki was as charismatic as he was, but this can easily become a disaster with 3x the superheroes and no good villain to bring them together.
comics thanos is GOAT , MCU Thanos will be a gigantic jobber who will return in phase 2 or 3 as an ally/anti-hero (probably for Doom, definitely for the Adam Warlock shit )
he's gonna be way more of a pussy, they'll play up the whole 'sad nihilist' shit after death waifu rejects him.
Ultron was victim of the Disney/Marvel Creative Committee. It was the last movie to be touched by them, as Fiege convinced Bob Iger to dismantle it and have only Fiege in charge. Fiege is also now the only studiohead who reports directly to Iger with no intermediary. Lucasfilm doesnt even have that.
They got rid of the committee around the time Avengers 2 was releasing, and Civil War was the first movie released that didnt have their fingerprints on it at all. And you can really tell with Phase 3 that Fiege is just going balls out trying new stuff and allowing directors to make the movies they want with no executive meddling. Pic related, it’s working. Thanos will be done justice, don't worry.
Conversely, you can see how absolutely shit the DCEU is and it is largely from executive meddling. Like, an unprecedented amount of executive meddling, what an absolutely disgrace.
Isn't comic Thanos a joke? I saw a panel where he was fighting Spiderman and he accidantly dropped his super gauntled. Then the police arrested him.
That was a joke. Real Thanos is a badass until his defeat.
>So how will they handle a villain that hasn't show his face to the heroes or even a mention of his power/presence?
Same way any other movie does?
