We have been dating for about 4 months now, and she wants me to pretend to be in a gay relationship with her brother to get him a partnership visa over here. (It is just a pretend relationship so it does not conflict with Islamic beliefs).
Am I being used? She said she just wants to help her family, and that we will still be living life as normal. He will just move in with us for a year (while on a student visa) in order to qualify for the partnership visa. Under New Zealand law we will not have to get married, and so I don't think this is a financial scam.
