Has Sup Forums seen The Poughkeepsie Tapes?
never heard of, give me a quick rundown
The 2007 film documents the murders of a serial killer in Poughkeepsie, New York, told through interviews and footage from a cache of the killer's snuff movies.
It had a troubled release due to the graphic nature of the film. It was never released in theatres or DVD. I bet you can still find it somewhere online. Really unsettling stuff.
You realise the film is fiction, right? And also really badly acted?
I think he does, but it's a mockumentary so some retards always think it's real
and it was released 7 or 8 years after it was originally planned and was only put out on dvd and bluray last year
A friend of mine claimed to have seen it, he said it was stupid but some parts were creepy. I grew up 1/2 hour from Poughkeepsie so there was all sorts of stupid rumors about how it was real. Hudson Valley kino when?
This is a mockumentary btw you fucking retard
I find it disrespectful to the dead and their families.
It's fiction you fucking cretin
You sure? Even if it is, it's still disrespectful to them.
yeah they were shit
neither scary nor thrilling
disrispectful to whom, there are no fucking victims
kek
The acting in that movie is awful and there's one decent scene
My sides
>claimed to have seen it
Nigga this aint The Grifter
The only good scene is where the killer is dressed as OPs pick. The rest is like a Zodiac Killer fanfic.
>implying this is lĂȘ deep Web movie
It's just a shitty mockumentary with some good aspects
That movie was so fucking cheap.
lol
this
>What do you want me to say?
Also, when she tries to scratch her head with the stump. The only 'unsettling' part was the whole Stockholm syndrome aspect.
This. Everybody save yourself 2 hours and just watch the gif a couple of times. I really wanted to like it but it's just an irredeemably bad movie.
>This is what a "Horror" fan considers
>Scary
The best part was how they expected me to find the killer scary after watching him prance around in pantaloons raving like a theater major for what felt like 25 minutes.
Don't kid yourself, it's pretty unsettling.
