>"stay down, final warning"
wait, now that I actually rewatched the movie. Tony won that fight, then Bucky pulled Tony's leg and cap was dirty enough to go along with the sucker punch.

Glad you figured that out
Tony had the stupid fighting hacks though
>be super genius
>need to use technology to beat a guy with a shield
how was a punch from Captain America or Bucky enough to do anything to Iron Man given that he was able to tank hits from Thor in the Avengers?
The shield and Bucky's arm caused damage, but the barefisted hits probably knocked him off balance at most
why would the shield cause damage?
even if it's a powerful metal cap can only swing it with so much force
Because he's captain america not captain pussy ass faggot
Vibranium. Don't need to explain shit
vibranium is weird and absorbs all kinetic energy and resistance from whatever it hits. its why it damages ultron (shudder) even when ultron is shown to be nigh invulnerable to everything else
if it absorbs kinetic energy doesnt that mean it wouldn't do anything if it hit something?
Not just any guy with some tinfoil shield you ass faggot fuck off
After all those years they were working together why did Tony never analyze Captain America's fighting patterns?
With the conservation of energy, the energy it absorbs should be able to dish it back out
>people legit arguing over another scene in another shitty entry in the shitty MCU
>eponymous hero of the film has to team up with the murderous mentally ill psycho commie villain from the last movie to win a dirty fight against the original MCU hero, who's inexplicably treated as the bad guy, following the revelation that his mother had been murdered by the aforementioned murderous mentally ill psycho commie villain
if these movies weren't as shit as they are, Tony would have literally killed the both of them, but that's probably too high concept for this type of capeshit. The fact that he didn't outright win that fight is down to how blatantly arbitrary the writing of it is.
>can destroy a tank effortlessly with his ultra high tech war suit but can't win a fistfight against a guy with a metal shield and a guy with a metal arm because iron man's armor is less strong than captain america's and his bff's plot armor
This was literally the only time the shield worked as it should
Because his suits ai could do it in 10 seconds
You seem to underestimate just how much stronger Captain America is than a normal human.
The molecular properties and design of the shield cause all force exerted on it to exert itself out of the convex side rather than within the structure or out of the concave side. That's how it took a direct hit from Mjolnir without flattening Cap underneath it.
In the comics, it's a vibrainium adamantium alloy. It is quite unique. Might see that explanation if they roll in the rest of the Marvel universe.
If you're still watching these things and aren't intrigued by Tony's fear of becoming his father enough to keep from calling them pure shit, you're either autistic or have daddy issues.
IIRC vibranium stores that kinetic energy until the material is at its limits, at which point it fails catastrophically and releases all the stored energy at once.
It's why cap's shield is also laced with adamantium. Pretty sure the MCU couldnt use adamantium because Fox, so they don't mention that in the movies.
>Iron Man and Captain America are going to fight, who's going to win?
>Well Iron Man is the better character, the more likeable character, he's more interesting, and he's significantly stronger, plus he has the more compelling motivation for the fight itself
>yeah but we already put "Captain America" in the title of the movie for some reason
>oh nvrmind then lol just have him punch him iron man a lot and then sort of win who even gives a shit
The only super-fight I still find interesting is Hulk vs. Wolverine.
Indestructible Manlet Rage vs Unstoppable Hulk Rage.
WRONG!!!
Vibranium absorbing energy, not reflecting it.
Another MCU garbage ruining own rules :D
literally bounced off black panther with no effect in Civil War.
>bucky
>cap
Like, watching this childish shit is one thing, but WHY does this fucking infantile fan base insist on these faggy fuckin names for their action figure heros?
