Everyone points to the Lady Gaga episode as the worst, but it doesn't make me as angry as the episode where Bart fucks up at his little league game and the whole population of Springfield wants him dead.

I know about the Lady Gaga episode, but zombie Simpsons have been going for so long that I believe there must be something worse than that.
That Bart episode was painful to watch, but not as awful as the Lady Gaga episode.

Same, I've never liked this episode for some reason.

I just saw one where Homer and Marge both became raging alcoholics, ignoring the kids, then Homer drunk-drove, flipped the car, and put an unconscious Marge in the driver's seat and did a runner.

Then she found out what she did and was pissed off for a bit, then forgave him. It also had an overly long bit with Homer pretending to be HOLD MUSIC. Twice. Awful episode.

The Italian bob was the episode that made me stop watching the show entirely.

Most Lisa episodes are pretty bad, especially when she stopped being the "voice of reason" and became the leftist mouthpiece that no one dares to question and that's always proven right despite how unrealistic it is.

The one where the whole country hates them and they go to prison with the Dixie Chicks. The Simpsons did political satire brilliantly before that shit episode.

Ironically the episodes directed by Lauren MacMullan (Moe Baby Blues, etc.) are one of the best out of Zombie Simpsons. The writing is still shit but the art tried something different and cool.

I absolutely loved the Simpsons and watched the new episodes religiously and this is the very first one I didn't find funny at all. Im sure there are worse episodes but this is the one that broke my heart.

Anyone who says Lisa Goes Gaga is just fed up at guest stars to the point of being blinded, Ive seen episodes in the scully years that's made me madder

The Simpsons use to be a family unit. If you really want to know why it sucks if you ever watched the tracy almun show they abused the fuck out of one another. The very roots of the show was suppose to be fucked up. Somehow when it went mainstream there was some kind of pretense they were a family unit and not just some bastards that should all hate one another. They never grow up and age or over come that. They just get dumber and more belligerent. I can't believe I wasted so many years watching it. Once they started competing with family guy it was so fucking obvious t.v. is fucking trash and all they cared about was a pay check.

Why is that? I'm not disagreeing but I'm curious.

I think Lisa Goes Gaga just represents everything wrong with Zombie Simpsons; the forced celebrity appearances, the unlikable and unbelievable characters, the shitty forced humour and the cringeworthy message at the core at the episode. By itself, it's just bad but it's a perfect example of just how bad The Simpsons has gotten.

Prior to that episode, he was a badass dude even if he let Bart play pranks on him. It just shows that he could fuck Bart's shit up anytime he wants, but decides not to because he wants Bart to have the childhood he couldn't have. Now he's just some random loser pretending to be Skinner.

I never understood the hate for this episode. Literally the only thing that’s different is that Skinner isn’t his real name. They even point this out in the episode.

After all these years, i learned that the problem about The Simpsons now is not about the guest stars, the topics, etc. Its all about the writing.
I can assure you that golden-era writers could have done FANTASTIC episodes about the topics of current year.

that episode is from season 10. this is the real beginning of Zombie Simpsons, IMO
many think it's the Armin Tamzarian one, but there were several legitimately good episodes in season 9 after that one.

The jokes aren't that bad, but it's the start of the writers introducing wacky plots that break the small continuity the show had and then reversing it at the end or ignoring it (see the episode about the Simpson gene that makes all the men dumb).
My favorite jokes in the show were Skinners flashbacks so that episode retroactively removed them, souring it even more in my eyes.
